omg, i just realised something! qh is rehashing the story of ramayan.for those of you who dont know, dashrath the weak king who got swayed by his younger, more beautiful wife sent his son ram for vanvaas(exile), in other wortds abandoned him.ram accepted his exile just as asad has lived allthese years.dilshad is kaushalya the calm ever enduring mother who has brought up her son with the right values of love and sacrifice.kaikayi is shireen because of whom dashrath sent his son away, so that his other son bharat(read ayaan) could be king.ayaan is a mixture of laxman, who followed ram in exile and bharat who waited for his elder brother to come back and reclaim his throne.indian mythology has seeped into every indians hearts but the last place i expected to find it was in a muslim social show.what do you think guys?do you find it startling or not?

Ram accepted his exile out of luv.. duty & respect fr his father... HE bore no hatred towards him ... he wud carry out any order tht his father wud 've given him... But Asad doesn't take his abondonement in the same manner ...he feels no luv or respect fr his dad ...he loathes him.. ...blames him fr everything tht he & his mom hd to go thru & guess he's rgt in doing so !
Ayaan too is no Bharat ...he's nt waiting fr his bro to cum bck so tht they cud all live like one happy fly under one roof ! ...coz I dnt think he cud accept Dilshaad ... m/over he likes to see his dad with his mom... I mean wasn't he whining on Asad's arms ...sum episodes bck abt how he wud'nt tolerate anybody to cum btwn his parents !... I am curious to knw wat r his feelings fr Dilshaad ...after all she is the mom of the brother he luvs so mch ! ...

phew! i didnt think anybody was interested in the topic, so thanks for replying.of course there are bound to be some discrepencies in the story to give it a diffferent feel.but the base is inspired from ramayan.waise bhi kehte hain there are five major themes in storytelling, with variations to make them look different.plots are mixed and matched to create a new story. if you go further on my premise, even manthra , the wicked daasi of kaikayi who poisoned her mind against ram would be similar to razia and maamujaan.kaikayi by herself did not wish bad for ram. she was led to believe that her son would have no standing and thats why she turned against ram she was kaan ka kaccha and was easily swayed like shireen.for eg shireen had even made some halwa or something when asad was in hospital.she did not wish bad for asad.this is just a theory.you can poke as many holes in it that you want to.

Ya well maybe the base is inspired frm Ramayana ...I dnt knw coz I dnt see Asad as Lord Rama in any way ...to me his character bears a stark resemblence with King Richard 1 of England ...Richard ws also called The Lion heart

well u r analysing it too much

those characters are different...and u cant even compare exile with seperation...

dont know y but i dont find any "ramayam" in "qubool hai"

i know a lot about ramayan being from a typical royal hindu family" but i guess there is hell a lot difference in ramayan and QH

hi, thanks for replying. its just a theory.i too am a hindu and do know a bit abt my own religion.anyway this is not abt religion.this is abt the base of the story which in my opinion is strikingly similar to the story of ram.i am referring to the epic over here as a story and not from religious point of view.and the best part is that you dont have to agree with me at all.you have a different pov and i respect that.thanks for interacting with me.😛
