Okay I was just thinking of all the 5 khan siblings. And I realized something. Ayaan is elder than nuzat and naikhat as they go to college and ayaan has already passed out. And najima is as old as nuzat. So what does that mean? I thought Rashid left dilshad to marry shereen so souldn't najima be elder than ayaan. Because it is made time and again clear by mamu that after marrying shereen Rashid was not to go back to dilshad. And dilshad is hardly the type of women who would have a relationship with a man who has left her and married someone else. And so the only other possibility I can think of is that Rashid had an affair with shereen when he was with dilshad. But that makes him a very bad person. And also if that's the case then of course mamu would not have kept quiet about it till ayaan and nikhat were born and then offer Rashid the deal to come leave with them.

So in short I am very confused so please if anyone can help me sort this out. Please do.

I wonder what answers CVs would have for this.
The age difference between Ayaan,Nikhat,Najma and Nuzhat is so confusing.
It was shown that 17 years before Rashid had abandoned Dilshad.So how do the kids of Shireen frame into the picture?
I hope CVs may come up with a better explanation.

As you said,the only possible answer is Rashid's extramarital affair.But that does not seems happening as per the story till now.Once Dilshad was shown recollecting Rashid's words that he is having a second woman in his life[When Rashid was about to come to see Asad after Asad got hurt while saving Ayaan,this scene was shown].But this scene didn't give away much...
We all are so confused regarding the age differences of all the children and the whole 17 year gap.

Your questions are quite pertinent.I hope we may get all our answers when the right time comes.If CVs don't come up with a nice explanation then this would a big BLUNDER.

perhaps rashid hid her second marriage from dilshad and continued living with both and when dilshad came to know this he left her..just my POV

@ Siddhi ok.I'll see that episode again.And then let you know if both are in the same class.Humaira and Najma can be in the same class but Nuzhat and Najma...They have got an age difference.I hope they are not of the same age.

He was married to both and lived with them both for sometime when Mamu demanded that he has to take one or the other and offered the deal. I was told, in Islam culture (no offence to anyone and that is not my intention here) they are allowed to have up to 4 wives may be I am wrong I don't know since I have been living in US for so long. Rashid chose to go for money and riches etc and deserted Dilshad. That is what I have understood so far. But may be there is more to it than meets the eye here. We have to wait and see.

Weil while your logic seems to be impeccable I do not expect Inidan TV producers, directors, and writers not to be so logical and rational. They make and produce all kinds of illogical crap and we have seen that in many shows.
