Hi all

I am a silent member here ( well not actually silent as i have commented on posts occasionally) and this is my first post. But i have been watching QH from the beginning i find this serial very entertaining in a good way and i visit this forum often.
Now after yesterdays episode i am seeing so many posts here, some applauding so much and some so negative in the sense that they did not like the execution of the episode.. And frankly i didn't find anything that faulty in yesterdays epi and so i thought i would make a post to express my view based on what others have expressed and hoping to clear some misconceptions regarding the epi that some are having.
Hope i don't offend anyone.

To me yesterday's episode was one of the best episodes of QH so far and I didn't find any major fault in direction.

Regarding what everyone is saying about Karan's lack of emotion and his wearing sunglasses when he went to pick Zoya, I didn't find it any strange. He was wearing sunglasses when he came inside and to talk to Akram he removed it and it was in his hands and when he went to pick Zoya, by natural instinct he could do only two things with those glasses. That's either put them on once again or put them in his pocket. And he did the first thing. So it's a natural thing which anyone would do at that moment and I didn't find it strange.

Now coming to Asad's lack of concern on his face, here two things explain it. First he is not someone who shows his emotions to people; even with those closest to him like his mom and sister, he lets his guard down very rarely… so he wouldn't show it suddenly out of the blue to all those strangers there including Akram who works for him and with whom he has that formidable relationship of a boss and employee. Second the fact that he was so angry (and anger and disgust was very much obvious on his face) at Akram and the gang is evidence that he was concerned for Zoya. If he did not care about what happened to Zoya why would he feel so angry? So to me Asad's expression was very apt to the situation and in line with his character. Now if he was shown rushing to the scene and when he saw Zoya, if his whole face was shown changing with concern or perhaps it was shown that he rushes to zoya, (the girl he could not stand till few hours back) with tears in his eyes , that would have been very unrealistic and out of character. Here he did not even come and say their classic sentence 'are you alright?'.. and frankly if he had said that in this situation, it would have been very comical because anyone can see from the first glance that Zoya was not alright. So seeing the condition Zoya was in he was concerned and his concern had made him angry and his priority at that time was taking Zoya from there. And in this situation, no other expressions and not much dialogues bashing Akram was required.

Then from the time he entered his house with Zoya in his arms, a lot emotions were clearly seen on his face as if during the journey from that place to his house with Zoya, the reality of what had happened had hit him fully and he had truly realized the gravity of what had happened and could have further happened with Zoya had he not reached there on time...and in the privacy of his home, in that alone moment with Zoya , he was feeling so many things – the anger was replaced by concern, anguish, and most importantly guilt… and that first touch of perhaps love which he is still unaware of. So the emotions of Asad had progressed very naturally, and to me it was executed very well.

Now coming to Zoya's expressions, Zoya was clearly given some kind of a drug or something like a tranquilizer or sleep inducing substance. And during the Nikaah fiasco also it was clearly seen that she was very drowsy and those women with her had to keep her awake and urge her to say Qubool Hai. And when a person is given something like this, they don't fall unconscious as happens in fainting. But they are not fully conscious and they are drowsy.. in other words they are in a sort of unconscious state but still conscious and can be aroused and made aware of what is happening by someone calling them etc or even on their own. And so after Asad kept her on the bench, she awoke on her own and then when that person cut her arms with that horrifying act (which by the way caused goose bumps on me) she was awake but still not in a state of mind to cry out too harshly or react too much and she once again went into a state of semi consciousness from which she awoke again when Asad took her in his arms again. So her going in and out of conscious state and her lack of reactions was what would actually happen in reality when a person was given something like that and treated that way. The only thing I noticed amiss in that part was that there was not much bleeding from Zoya's hand. Actually there' s veins on that part of a person's hand which would bleed profusely if such a cut was made on that area and that bleeding will not stop that easily (and it had stopped by the time they reached home). So that was a small blooper but then this is fiction and we have to ignore these small things.

Yes the expression of Dilshad was a bit strange. She was worried whole day about Zoya and when she finally saw Asad entering the house carrying Zoya in his arms which he would not have done unless something was really wrong, her expressions should not have been that mild.. or it could be that when some people are suddenly too shocked, they become expressionless, unable to believe and take in the real situation. This could be how Dilshad behaved. Anyway except for Dilshad's expression and the cut which did not bleed too much, I didn't find anything amiss in the episode.

And to me, yesterday's episode was very good and turned out unexpectedly well – the dynamics of Asad-Zoya's relationship has finally changed and the way that has changed is shown beautifully in an acceptable way. Now it is to be seen how their relationship progresses. From the precap its clear that Zoya is going to show some attitude and she is justified in doing so...now what is to be seen is how Asad reacts to it. Whether he would once again become closed and formal (and I don't mind that happening) with her after her 'attitude' or whether he is going to openly ask for and pursue her forgiveness? Whatever happens, he should not become judgmental about Zoya again. At this stage that is the only change that I want to see in Asad. The rest of the changes and their discovering of each other and appreciation of each other etc should progress slowly in line with the concept and developing story of the serial as a whole.

absolutely agree with you.. i was going to make a similar post on this...why is everybody finding fault with Asad... from the begining of the show he is shown a very reserved person... not a man who will go and cry in front of others... but we did see a tear drop in his eyes... that shows how much he cared for Zoya...

And for complaining to police part i guess when ur loved ones are in pain and injured .. u first take care of them and not go to police and waste time... afterwards u can do that easily...

Thirdly many people are saying Asad didnt even slap akram.. thats because he already said that he is not a man... and Asad being a gentleman dont fight with women... and i am sure he has his own ways to teach lesson to him... its not needed to fight with him

thank u for making this post 👏

Yes Dear. we did see that tear drop and it showed how much he actually cared and that he was feeling for her and her pain.
and yes i also don't feel he should go to Akram and slap him and shout at him. Regardless of some of the not so appealing characteristics that Asad have, he is a man of class, brought up well by a loving mother and this with his reserved nature would not allow him to go and slap someone like Akram and shout at him .with that single sentence, he has shown Akram where he stands and what he actually is and Asad's approach was real classy and dignified.
