I don't think Asad is in love as such , but he is connected to Zoe through pain and his own hand in her current state. Asad and Zoe are emotional about each-other, so love is just waiting around the corner.

i mean just a few hours ago he was still arguing with his ammi that Zoya is not a bechaari and careless and must be roaming around carefree...

only later he realizes that the meeting HE set up for her has got her into major danger ..and of course he rescues her ...

so one would think the major feeling overwhelming him is Guilt ...add to it his own mother and sister ...who usually wait after him are giving him the silent treatment ...

so if one sees this purely logically ..he should be feeling only guilt now ..he can however start falling in love from this point ..if in the process of taking care of ( as a mean to make amends) he gets to know Zoya and her viewpoints better , without letting his biases and prejudice come in between ..he might fall in love...

now however his " Hum ghar aa gaye Zoya" can signal probably the feelings are slightly more than that ...

1) if i stick to the theory described above ..then all he is trying to do is put her at ease / console her ...part of his guilt ridden mechanism

2) however if it is some thing more than guilt ..then probably unconsciously he has already started thinking of her as part of his life/family and those feeling will now surface strongly ...

CVs can either ways use this as an inflection point in the story ..it can still go any way ...1) Zoya falling for him coz of his TLC ..but he feeling no more than compassion or acting only out of guilt..

2) he falling in love ..but Zoya distancing herself ...

3) both falling in love .. not showing it ...

4) both falling in love...but circumstances come in between distancing them ...MUs over Rashid ...what ever...

oh ..going through this verbal diaorrhea I forgot ..you asked a question ..eh .. i guess my answer is ..he is right now feeling guilty..and a teeny weeny something more ...but it is still not ishq waala luv...
