Just Two weeks away Zee TV's new show Qubool Hai produced by 4 Lions is already making waves. The cast has been introduced, photo shoots done and even the promos have gone on air. Apart from the fact that this show comes from the 4 Lions Bandwagon who have given us hits like Geet, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and many more viewers are excited to see their favorite actor Karan Singh Grover make a comeback in a fiction show. Set in Bhopal, this is rumored to be a family drama set up in a Muslim Backdrop. Also starring Surabhi Jyoti and Rishabh Sinha the expectations from Qubool Hai are sky high.
Telly Tadka takes you on a Promo Journey trying to depict and describe the three main characters of the show in three parts.
Part 1: Zoya played by Surbhi Jyoti
"Shayarana Andaaz Mein, Shararthi Mizaaj mein'.Kya aapko Zoya Qubool Hai?"
Zoya was the first character introduced to the viewers. Two Promos on the female lead are already on air'..When the first promo was aired viewers found it a tad bid difficult to relate to the Promo, no we are not talking about the use of Urdu but the underlying meaning of the Promo wasn't quite clear. Subsequent watching will make you realize that Zoya just gave it back to those men who were making fun of the fact that their scooty had starting trouble. It was done in her own smart and unique way. Zoya the character looks interesting, the straight in your face attitude is something we have seen with all the 4 Lions leading ladies but the "Shayarana Andaaz" is definitely something to look out for. If its Zoya's personality traits that the makers have tried to highlight in this 45 sec promo, they it wouldn't be wrong to say that they managed to get what they wanted.
"Tehzeeb ka khayal bhi, Kuch jayaz sawaal bhi'Kya aapko Zoya Qubool Hai?"
The second promo also showcased the female lead Zoya but in a better light. A better insight into the character was given. Great emphasis has been given to her personality. She is a Muslim, but a new age girl. Someone who walks hand in hand with changing times, she is shown in a modern getup but keeping it in accordance with her culture and the traditions instilled in her. Zoya sure in her thinking as well. Her question "Uncle Agar Aabith scooter chala sakta hai, toh Aaziya kyun nahi?" indicates that she is against stereotypes and will never hesitate to question them. She does not shy away from speaking her heart out when she knows that she is right. She is a no nonsense person but not the usual brooding types, but who knows how to live every moment of her life Bindaas.
From the looks of the promo Zoya definitely looks like a very different and refreshing character. 4 Lions have always managed to bring something unique and out of the box with their shows. Their characters have always been outstandingly sketched and showcased on TV making viewers fall in love with each one of them. We are sure that Zoya is not going to be any different.
