Yes because that unborn child is his lineage, his ultimate belonging, the blood relation for which he yearned all life. But Preet does not know all that and thinks he is a traitor cheating her and the country for which she feels so much. Don't know whats in store. I am not expecting anything from Preet atm, its too much to ask for I guess. 😭

Between thanks to the rush and time constraint, Preet's entire journey of conflict and dilemma just got killed as it directly goes into the chapter where she wants to prove that she is not a traitor like her husband too and thus its now Knock Rizwan Down. Preet's character just did not get enough time time to ven show the layers of emotions that woman is going through for a single episode. All thanks to Sony. Don't knopw what should I say. We just missed out the great depiction from the talented actor.
