Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh to die on PKHJD - Bollywood Life

The show's ending is one of unrequited love

All good things must come to an end. However, fans are disappointed with Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Dogetting off air before the stipulated time. As per reports, the show will culminate with the end ofMona Singh (Preet) and Iqbal Khan (Rizwan). They will reportedly die in a bomb blast. Doesn't that remind you a lot of Mani Ratnam's doomed Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala romance Dil Se? Preet will reportedly foil a plan and get killed in that process. Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do focused on how these two found true love in each other but could not stay together. Fans had given the couple the moniker, RizReet.

One of the refreshingly different shows on TV, PKHJD had developed a niche audience during its short run. Fans appreciated the fabulous acting and chemistry between the lead pair, Iqbal and Mona. The actor had also expressed his disappointment on the show getting off air. His colleague on the show, Arjit Taneja too conveyed his disappointment through interviews. The show had a total of 104 episodes. People have vented their ire on the channel for taking this decision as the content was loved by many.

There are reports that this show will be replaced by a new show called Ek Duje Ke Vaste. It will reportedly star Aakanksha Singh of Na Bole Maine Tumne Kuch Kaha fame. It will be created by Bindu Productions.
