We can't do anything... The story is in the writer's hands. But I wanted a happy ending not just because rizreet should live happily but I also feel that if riz dies, it's in a way Baba's win, although Riz will foil his plan and save many lives. But still Riz will lose his life and so will Preet. Their presence in Kavyas life can never be replaced. IMO these two meant more for Kavya than did her other family members even though they are her actual blood relations. In my opinion it would have made more sense to show riz going to jail, and then come back and live happily. If Preet can die with him (definitely means she forgives him), she can live with him too after knowing his back story. One cannot help but think had Sana told Riz the truth much earlier that his parents were not killed by Baba, things would have been SO different. But again this is a fictional story with many ifs and buts. We have to accept whatever the writer decides.
This is just my POV. No offense meant 😊
No offence taken either. We still dont know what eill be fate of Baba and his gang. Hope they get punished for their deeds too.
Coming to preet's forgiveness, even if rizwan stays alive and Preet forgives him knowing his back story, why shoukd she stay in the relatinship with the man who betrayed her , deceived her so that his cover remain intact? Trust once broken so harshly can never goes back to its original form. Its like that broken mirror which shiws the crack till it lasts. So when the most important factor on which Preet thought she built her rishta will get shattered, she will not be the same person any more. Even if she dies forgive Rizwan so that he gers relieved from his guilt, and gies to jail, why should a woman wait for that man who offered her betrayal in return to her pure devotion? Because she loves him and Rizwan has a golden heart? Isnt that disrespecting yoyr own existence by allowing another one to take complete control over your senses? Maafi ke baad bhi saath rehna zaroori nahi hai shayad. Yes she can forgive him and start afresh. Disloyalty, betrayal should not get negated by Love in practical dynamics of a relationship imo.
Now coming to Preet embracing death for Rizwan, the scene is yet to play out. But evrn if thats the case, I will take it as impulsive, momentary expression fro, a very emotional Preet who cant imagine her lufe wothout her beloved. A situation when she foes not get the chance to weigh /assess her emotions, how those got abused. Its Love and pasdion taking over, that cam be a short term, adrenalin rush reaction but cant be a long term response. Love cannot outweigh every other aspect, facet of a marriage.
I dont see a sensible woman protagonist after weighing all sides of coin ending up with a man who cheated her, who showed utter indifference to her feelings and eventually refused to acknowledge her love along with having criminal records. It jus does not look fathomable for me. No offence meant either, just my pov . On this we are on different pages and never going to conclude alike I suppose. But as in literary terms we say Love should get its chance, for that happy ending does sound perfect.
