What a twist !!..Naina comes out to be the most shrewdest of the characters...She even left Rizwan behind in her planning and scheming...Even he was bowled over by her revelation of knowing his truth..(actually not truth but that he is not Ishaan Hooda) !! Writers you deserve a clap for this sudden twist completely out of the blue...
Now what to say about Iqbal...The Man is too good with his emotions, with his dialogues and his expressions...
The constant turmoil of emotions that Rizwan is going through since the day he promised 60 days of complete happiness and togetherness to Preet...
Not once has he had a moment of peace which he could have seriously enjoyed with Preet or his family...He is happy one moment and the next instant something happens to bring out the guilt, the war between Ishaan and Rizwan in him...Its like as if his emotions are being controlled by a switch which is turning on and off continuously...Its as if his maula is taking his test and trying to give him chances to understand the reality...which he is unable to see due to the mission ingrained in his mind since childhood...
The mission is like a tattoo that has been carved in his soul and which when faced with the knife of blind trust and un surpassed love of Preet and the Hooda family oozes blood bringing him unbearable pain, guilt and helplessness...He can not do anything to remove this tattoo other than to move away from the knife that brings out blood...Only... if he could understand that yes the carving from the knife would give him pain but it would cleanse his soul forever if he could just make the right decision...
The song blended in so well with his dilemma and his situation that again would like to congratulate the writers for their superb thoughts and writing...The song and his monologue with maula expressed his emotions with such depth...that the scene alone caused tears to form...making us feel his pain...his decision to move away from Preet's life so that she and the Hooda family have just the sweet memories of Ishaan and not Rizwan's truth is something which shows Rizwan's character, desire and his strength to save Ishaan by separating Rizwan from him by sacrificing Rizwan for his mission...
I don't know if I have been able to justify whatever was shown in the epi but this is what came in my thoughts :
Rishte Bharose Chahatein Yakeen
Sab hai mere fir bhi kuch bhi nahi
Jaana hai mujhe inhe yahin chodkar
Dusre wajood main inki jagah hi nahi..
Aankhon main uski gum na dekh paunga
Nafraton ko unki na jhel paunga
Maula mere itna karam tu karna
Bhul jayein mujhe nahi to main mar jaunga...
Would seriously love your thoughts on this...
