Badi Ma consoles Preet by saying that for her, her and Ishan's jodi is the best. Badi Ma adds that she understands what Preet must be going through, spending time with Meghna and her family and they hug. Kuku comes and sees Neeti all dressed up and when he is told that they are going for a romantic dinner, he gives an excuse that he is tired but Neeti gets him to agree :P Trisha asks Bilal also to come.
Badi Ma and Bade pa get ready for the party. Sid refuses to come, saying that he would be bored. Neeti tells her mom that she would come, when asked much to Kuku's confusion. Sid sees that Naina is going too and becomes excited and decides to go too. Preet decides not to go without Ishan but he just comes then and tells her that they can leave now.Jai meanwhile asks his assistant if the party arrangements are done and brings his dog Baburao. He tells him how he has given a special invitation to the Hoodas, especially Ishan and adds that he has a doubt on him.
The Hoodas come and intros are done. Jai insists on shaking everyone's hands as he feels this is how one gets to know a person.Bilal feels a bit left out but Trisha comforts him.IshReet arrive just then. Jai makes Ishan to shake hands and they each comment on their shaking manner. Jai looks at Preet and addresses her as Preet Kaur Bhullar and adds that he knows her of being Vikrant's childhood friend and Preet laughs, reminiscing Jai's nickname. Ishan becomes jealous.He gets Sana's call who reminds him to be on the lookout. Some mushroom starters are served and Jai recognizes this and remarks that Preet is allergic to it. Ishan becomes even more upset and starts drinking and he is frustrated for feeling jealous over Preet talking about Vikrant. Preet tells Jai how much Ishan has always supported her. Neeti and Kuku have an adorable scene.
When they sit for dinner, Ishan feels all left out and angry when Jai jokes about Preet being a lefty and also about her favourite song which was told to him by Vikrant and he taunts her.Preet's favourite old song plays and everyone goes to dance except IshReet. Neeti and Sid become friends again after a mutual apology and they go to dance. Preet requests Jai not to talk about Vikrant in front of Ishan, after realizing that Ishan is upset. Neeti asks Ishan in jest why Preet is talking to Jai and he sarcastically replies that Jai is her common friend and goes to Jai and taunts him to dance with Preet who becomes upset on hearing Ishan speak like this. Jai ends up dancing with her and she bursts into tears. The Hoodas become worried. She leaves. Jai feels that Preet is a good person but Ishan is hiding something.
At home too Ishan keeps taunting Preet about Vikrant that she must be missing him a lot. He tells her that he is a stranger to her as someone else knows more about him. She shuts him up by shouting that Vikrant may have known more about her but she never know anything about Vikrant but she knows all about Ishan's favourite things and she started crying because how much Vikrant loved her, she loves him that much.. and stops mid sentence and leaves.He feels guilty.
Precap-Ishan tries to make amends but Preet asks him not to bother.
