When it comes to Indian Television the more dominating character generally is the Female Lead Protagonist. I am not saying that the male lead protagonist is inconsequential, No! It's just that from an entertainment point of view appreciation is much more when a female character shines dazzlingly from the rest of the lot. Her agnipareeksha, her tears, her wit, her intelligence, her one liners and dialogues, the way she fails or counterattacks the vamp/villains evil moves, the love and care for her husband, children, family etc etc always come out as strong point and believe it or not for most parts end up being full on paisa vasool.

No matter how much one argues, in today's world majority consider women as the weaker ones. I am not generalizing, there are exceptions but undoubtedly this is still a very prevalent notion. However what people fail to realize is that if a woman was created from man... to help him; as the age old belief goes, we can also theorize that a woman at times can show equal or more strength than a man in more aspects.

Our TV Soaps rely heavily on this fact and today we bring you the top 7 Woman Characters who showed incredible strength, character, intelligence and true woman spirit this week.

This week saw Preet Hooda in some zabardast action when she first mends the differences created between The Hooda's and Kapoors and then when she saw Naina and Bilal together and confronted them. While her approach did backfire as nobody values truth and honesty in todays world; the way she is on to Bilal and Naina only means that she is is not going to give up till the truth is out before all.

One of Preet's strongest quality is that she is relentless. Kisi cheez ke peeche padh jaati hai toh padh hi jaati hai. Which is why once she makes up her mind others there is no stopping her. If you remember it is this same relentlessness that saved Ishaan/Rizwan from getting caught by Jai as seen in the latest episode of the show and this is exactly what is going to help her bring the truth out.

Preet is very protective of her family. Having lost hers four years ago, Preet can't and won't bear if somebody tries to cause them harm of any sort. Preet is shocked to find that her doubts regarding Bilal and Naina were right; and that shock turns into fury when it dawns upon her that her husband had to apologize for something he wasn't wrong about. She slaps Bilal for having betrayed her trust as it was she who made it possible for Bilal and Trisha to unite. She fights her fury, tries to calm and showcases immense maturity when she gives the duo a chance to come clean even when they did not deserve it. Not only does Preet give Naina and Bilal an ultimatum but she does it a matter of factly that you can help but admire her.

Now with Naina deciding to play dirty and paint Preet as the wrong one in the family things will get more interesting as Preet is not one to sit quietly. She is a fighter and has always been one ever since her entire world crumbled down four years back. Word of advice to Bilal and Naina -Watch Out!!!
