So we have the big revelation about Ishaan aka Rizwan Ahmed Khan. He is an under cover ISI agent.
Honestly, being a Pakistani it bothered me. It bothered me big time that the protagonist is an undercover agent, reflecting this is how Pakistanis act, but thinking and speaking rationally, keeping my emotions at bay, this is a reality.

Pakistan and India do send under cover agents to each other's countries. If this would have been a Pakistani serial the protagonist would have been an Indian agent, infact i have seen Pakistani plays with such stories, so i guess if i don't let my patriotism get in the way and watch this show rationally, then there is applaud for Ekta Kapoor.

This story turned out to be completely opposite to promos - this is not about a family taking care of a couple's lost love. This is about how two nations are exploiting innocent human emotions and lives for material gains. There is so much lack of trust that the governments don't even think before staking so many lives.

This is a story much deeper than a couple colliding and sharing an eye lock, and then consummating one drunken night and then realizing their love for each other. It is about secrets, lies, deception and duty.

Does duty comes before emotions?
Is it fair to manipulate innocent people for getting to know what the neighboring country is upto?
Is it fair for the agencies to risk the lives of their own people and send them to a foreign land?

Now its revealed why such mature seasoned actors like Mona and Iqbal were chosen for this show. This is not a regular love story. It demanded the maturity and experience that these two have. I must also mention today's precap - Iqbal stole the show! excellent dialogue delivery and his eyes are so damn expressive.

So, i am looking forward, will watch this show until and unless they dont ridicule my country, and show it from the perspective that it happens on both sides.

Would love to hear everybody's POV 😃

Well said!

I am a Pakistani as well and I was kinda of put off to hear that Iqbal Khan would be playing an ISI agent 🤔. Love Iqbal and Mona so will continue watching unless they start defaming our country in which case, its adios to this show.

oh heyy D 😃😃
exactly my thoughts, if they handle it rationally and don't start the propaganda then its a beautiful story. Infact according to me its not a love story. Its about how an undercover agent starting caring about the people he is living with and realizes that his lies would harm them .. harm people who are innocent.

I am not watching this show for some fairy tale romance - i am watching it for the dilemma, that anguish that he is lying to people and building their lives around a lie. and i have a hunch it will have a sad ending, as its a finite series, because a happy ending would be unrealistic. I want it to have a proper rational ending, just focussing on emotions, because RIzwaan is also as innocent as Hooda family is. The common man has to pay for the fights governments have. I hope they show it this way!!

👏 for you
I absolutely agree with your each n every word😊
we, two nations, have such a history that we hardly trust each other(i would say armies n govt not common ppl) so its common that both countries do keep sending undercover agents to protect their own countries and to some extent it is fine as it makes them feel safe😊

we commoners dont want all this stuff, we just want peace but sad thing is we cant do anything in that

but the other point u said, agents mingles up with common citizens n then playing with their emotions is too too bad, how can they do it?
but i do equally feel bad for agents too,
reason-all agents are not stone hearted, for example take Ishaan urf Rizwan-----he has became so attached to Hooda's, it can be clearly seen in his eyes that its kills him from inside to betray them, he do love preet but his real identity is keeping him away from her

I feel bad for both parties😊

Spy's/ Agents, we all know this happens.. Through the the world. Every country has such fall guys to bring in intelligence and secrets of the other nation. There are many shows and movies made in every country. I just don't want Ishaan to be a bad guy... Spy/ Agent ok!
And after all...People who carry out beastly acts have no country or religion..

I watch online, via Sony on YouTube, and the last episode they have is 9.
But Ishaan also works for Hooda which apparently has a good hand in Indian defence.

Exactly my point, until and unless its handled with neutrality, this show deserves a chance, because lets admit, the IQ is a brilliant undercover agent 😳
@Ara, u should try other online sites :)

So what is your take on the Show now..??

I for once very Happy that The Makers took utmost Care to not make any Mockery related to Religious issues or disrespecting any Country Related Sentiments...
