Who is Kavya?

Hi everybody!
I've been loving this show. It's very captivating but I'm little confused. If Preet and Ishaan aren't sharing a relation of a husband and wife then who is Kavya. I mean she can't be their biological daughter right?

but i guess she is some relative but they died so they adopted her

I think she is preet's daughter . and Ishaan accepted her .since there is some RAAz in their relationship. may be this marriage is some arrangement that ihaan did to protect them.
