I am aware of the fact that almost 75-80% of PKDH's online fandom dislikes the current track because they believe Pankhudi was the ultimate symbol of goodness. She was perfect and so was the PaYa love story. All of us got so attached to the character of Pankhudi that we were unwilling to accept Ayesha.
But, let's think logically and most important, practically! Let's think from the real point of view that is the director's point of view and also from the point of view of their characters, i.e the reel point of view.
The love story of Pankhudi and Aditya had hit a dead end. They were living in ultimate bliss and there was no way that the director could have added any more spice to their relationship for the TRPs. Amidst all the high-suspense drama, CVs forgot to show us the Meetha Meetha side of pyaar. A few cute fights here and there...but that's about it. Most of their time together was spent on tackling the dramatic family and the head-hurting villains. I mean, let's face it...even in their honeymoon, they were busy looking for Aneesha Nani.
Pankhudi's character had become flat and so had everyone else's. Even Sheela had become good...could they keep showing us a happy family? They wouldn't get TRPs. It's a Hindi serial and there has to be drama.
According to me, bringing in Ayesha and killing Pankhudi has been a master stroke by the CVs. Your dislike for Ayesha stems from the fact that you think she is here to replace Pankhudi. She's not, she's a different character altogether.
Pankhudi was sweet, good-willed, innocent, quiet disciplined and charming. She was the ideal woman who had no flaw. She was too perfect to be real and an inspiration to each and every one of us. Ayesha, on the other hand, is loud, disrespectful, stubborn, strong-willed, but she has the traces of Pankhudi within her. To the people she likes, she can be sweet, loving, innocent, good-willed and charming.
Both the characters are a sharp contrast. For me, it is a refreshing change because the immense goodness had me wondering about the verity of the whole show.
With this new track, you get to see a grey-shaded heroine and dove-white hero unlike most shows where the hero has grey shades and the heroine is a pure soul.
Pankhudi transformed Adi into who he is today and now Adi will transform Ayesha. It's a circle.
Look at the brilliancy of the whole design.

The directors have left the loop open. If they want to bring Pankhudi back, they can do so easily. They have shown she is dead but is she really? Where's the dead body? If Adi could keep this belief intact for two years, why can't you do so for at least two more months? Maybe, in the end directors will just go the stereotypical way and show us that Ayesha is Pankhudi only. She simply suffers from memory loss. But even if they do that, they will make you wait for at least 3-4 months because the Ayesha track brings in the much needed spice in a dead story.
They could even get Disha to do a double role and Pankhudi could come in when Adi and Ayesha are finally settling in. Imagine the pull that Adi would have towards Ayesha and Pankhudi. The love, the attraction, the confusion, the decisions, the broken hearts, the jealousy...so much potential in just one track.
Even if Pankhudi is gone for good, doesn't a man have a chance to fall in love again? Adi, right now is marrying Ayesha for respect and to give her a platform to pursue her dreams. It doesn't mean he loves her or will love her. He still loves Pankhudi.
But eventually, in the due course of time, if Adi begins to fall for Ayesha...what's wrong? Are you trying to tell me that once your wife leaves when you are only 30, you don't get another chance to life and love? That's extremely narrow-minded, like the olden times where people were against Punar Vivah.
Let's suppose that he does fall in love with Ayesha but that doesn't mean he will forget Pankhudi. They have shown us true and pure love between PaYa...I agree your first love is probably is the best but it doesn't mean you shy away from accepting the second best if the best is no longer available to you.
If none of the three track happen, there's always chance for another fresh track with equal potential.

Just think. With this new track, we can see a reversal of roles and everything has begun from square one.
Most of you are upset because of the shoddy manner in which the whole AdiSha wedding was orchestrated but wasn't Aditya and Pankhudi's wedding dozens similarly. He did it to save her respect against the wishes of her family. Even though the story has started similarly, it's not going to end the same way. The CVs have learnt their mistakes and are not going to repeat them in Season 2.
It's a second chance to make a brilliant plot and resurrect the entire storyline without getting you bored of seeing the same thing happening again because of the religion and cultural differences angle. Superb!
For all of you who will put forth a simple argument saying "They should just end the serial than kill Pankhudi!"
It cannot happen. A serial which rakes high TRPs such as this one will surely not be allowed to go off air by the channel. They cannot let the powerhouse of talent in the serial go for a waste. If you can think like a corporate do so, this has been the best decision for Rajshree productions when it comes to real money and reel story. Hats off to the makers. Instead of criticizing the makers by saying that they have ruined the show, you should be appreciating them. Because, if they had not killed Pankhudi, you would be watching a dry show with no depth.
I have lots of expectations from the Ayesha track and I hope the CVs do not let them down. The Dhanrajgir drama made me give up on PKDH but I am back to follow it like a regular viewer. Whether Pankhudi comes back or not, the storyline holds a lot of potential and I hope the makers do not fail to show it.
I have accepted Ayesha and will continue to watch the show. But if you haven't, I am not forcing you to. I am simply asking you to continue watching the serial for its spice and drama and with the hope that Pankhudi might return in a month or two. Don't give up on PKDH!
Loads of Love,
