Wishing ALL of u a very, very, very happy Durga Puja~
Hello everybody🤗I wish all a Happy Durga Puja, once again😉
This card I have used has the heading written in Bengali. And many of the forumvasis are non-bengali's and have not understood the phrase. So, if I was asked to explain this phrase mu answer wd have been "Good wishes and plenty of love on the auspicious occasion of Bijaya/Vijaya" Note: Bijoya means victory.Bijoya is celebrated from the last day of Durga Puja, i.e., Vijaya Dashami to Kali Puja (Diwali). It is celebrated for about a period of one month. When Maa Durga destroyed the demon Mahishasura in a ten day-long battle, the day was christened as Vijaya Dashami - the day of victory. This victory is a celebration of good and end of evil era. Shubho Bijoya is not just a traditional greeting, but also a way to celebrate the auspicious victory over evil.
