I did not watch most of the episode today but from what I gathered - the "speak a few decibels higher" Rubel is going to develop new levels of vocalism. For a change Sheela and Rubel are going to discover that the worm has finally learned to turn. Khoon Khoon hota hai bhai, aur sau laat khaane ke baad kutta bhi bhaunkta hai. Basically the two of them thought that they had Anuj a tight hold on Anuj, but he's slipped his leash finally and is about to land a solid kick to their ample backsides.
Poor Sheela - "Sapna mera toot gaya, tu na raha kuch na raha" - ise kehte hain, haath toh aaya par mooh na laga. Bechaari saari umar sapna sajati reh gayi ki poori jaydaad pe raaj karoongi aur maalik ne chaabi pados mein de di. She was gloating that the only silver lining is that Rubel is not under Latika's thumb completely, she's about to discover that even Anuj is not completely under his wife's thumb.
Must say one thing for the Diwan family members - chupchaap kaam karne mein maahir hain sab. They observe, analyze and then strike - remember Karma - Sacho, Samajho, Parakho, phir vaar karo. Both Avantika and Anujhave displayed the same traits. If Purushottam Diwan failed at teaching family values, he did teach his children to critically analyze situations and use their own brains, and he taught them to speak their mind and stand up for what they believe in irrespective of consequences - Avantika and Preeti have already demonstrated that amply enough, now it's time for ANuj to prove that he's been cut from the same cloth.
The ever delightful Rubel was his usual charming self - he is so wrapped up in his own thoughts and desires that he's failed to see what Anuj is planning and/or his reactions.
But I'm not happy with the way things are going to turn - it is important that Rubel hear a few home-truths from Latika and Sheela. It is important that Sheela be given the same scurvy treatment by Latika and Rubel that she's been meting out to the others. But then that would spell the end of the serial wouldn't it. A serial has life only because of its delightful negative characters. Today one of them breathes his last. Her's hoping that a few more added to their tribe so that the serial continues for a couple of 100 episodes more.
