Oh what torture Valentine's Day is... I have to buy all these candies and help my daughter make 24cards for her classmates... Most of them she is not even friends with😡. Thank God my husband is out of town...otherwise we would have the same old argument. Him: "it's a medieval fertility ritual, it should be celebrated accordingly😃"...Me: "St. Valentine was killed on this day...it should be celebrated with solemn spirit"😒. Him: "how about some spirit of flexibility?"😕...like I said this year I will enjoy it by watching all my fav TV shows ALONE... What bliss...
Lo behold... Spoke too soon... There wasn't a single show without some valentine paraphernalia, a woman in red see through saree and overly touchy feely guy who rest of year pretended to be a hermit 😉was the order of the day. Every show had gazillions of candles and flower petals! That many candles is a serious fire hazard . Also the red chiffon saree must be thoroughly combustible😔.
I start my Spiral of Worry. Red flowers on bed...it will be so hard to take the stain of crushed petals off the duvet...no amount of Clorox will be able remove that stain. Maybe nothing will happen between the couple...oh no..their fingers touched while sleazy music is playing in the background😳. This means petals will get crushed for sure. Wait a minute...the hero is blind folding the heroine, yikes...her saree is dangerously close to the candles..😲. My head is spinning... I cannot remember if I was watching a murder mystery or a love story or both...

I hear the key turning in our front door...panic has settled in..I get the KNIFE and PEPPER SPRAY ready. Phew ...my husband walks in...a pleasant surprise! Me: " if you have to kill me, don't burn me alive". Him: " I wont get the chance, you have all the weapon in your hand"😆
