The Pureness of a Relationship

In the end we know PaYa is bound to end up together.. that's whats to happen because the story is about them, there's no question about it. What I'm most concerned about with Latka Jatka and Adi's marriage track is the marriage itself.. Now, I don't know how that track is progressing, I have not been watching for almost two weeks now.. I'm saving myself! From episodes and spoilers til I have a bunccch together then my mom and I can have nonstop Adibear time.. Needless to say after that I will have had Adi-overdose and be rushed to the health clinic to get treated for my drug overdose.. but anyywaysss, my point, DONTTT tell me whats going on!!

Back to why I made the post, not just in PKDH but this goes for every show, if the leads get married/ fake married whatever to someone else before they actually get their marriage with the main lead, it ruins the effect of the love story.

For example, with our show, I know PaYa are going to end up together in the end, but before that I don't want Adi married/fake married whatever with Latika or anyone else and vise versa for Pankuri. It's a terrible thing but now days divorce is common and even in serials now, its a hot topic. I don't want any sort of that thing happening with PaYa. Yes, if that does happen, it'll make the other person realize their feelings but it ruins the pure-ness of their relationship. I feel like the love story gets tainted. It's like you were already commited to someone else before me, then whats so special about our reunion?

My personal opinion, if it absolutely MUST happen, then engagement is okay, but any other commitment type stuff to the other person besides the lead, in our case, PaYa, diminished the intensity of the much awaited reunion whenever it happens.

Do you guys get what I'm trying to say or was the past four paragraphs just ranting nonsense?

What are your thoughts on it guys?!

Absolutely agree with you Sharna. I have never seen any other Hindi Serial before...and I have very high hopes from this one. I probably will stop watching if the marriage does take place...Nana better fake another heart attack or something...

I am sure you won't be disappointed! PKDH is fabulous so far! Its different from other serials.

Thats my one reason why I reaally don't want the marriage to happen. It'll ruin the purity of the PaYA relationship. If one of them is already married then what will be so special about their wedding? It's not the same. It becomes tainted.

I am probably from a dif generation than you (I'm married with a kid)... I am NOT puritan at all. I expect Latika might have had a boyfriend or two. Maybe Adi had girlfriends before (unlikely he seems so disinterested in relationships - I would've used a better word for it but I am respecting the language of this forum but you get the drift ;)

Even then Latika doesn't deserve to be compared constantly to Pankhuri...especially if she gets married to Aditya. I didn't like it when NAnaji asked her (latika) to make tea (an episode long time ago)...why stoop low to make Pankhuri look better than her. She is better in her own right not because she is better in making tea.

Anyways... how old is Adi? Does he not get a special feeling when he is around PK (tired of writing Pankhuri)... How can he equate that with friendship I don't know. Sometimes it feels like he is one step away from saying "you're like a sister to me"...honestly he is leading that girls on and on...and she is trapped because she is in a trance.

Yes, Latika and Pankuri cannot be compared. Even Adi said it himself a loong time ago in the beginning how Pankuri is completely different, her lifestyle etc from Adi.. which was why he agreed to marry Latika the first time. I have no doubt that Latika has probably had boyfriends in the past, but I wonder, and my way too curious and dirty mind lol, makes me wonder about Adi.. erm.. how experienced is he? Haha. He's very modern like Latika, but he seems so innocent and like you said, uncaring about that stuff and relationships..

I think that he takes Pankuri for granted so much that he cannot understand his feelings. And honestly, I think at the moment I'm okay with that. I want their relationship and story to build over time, them to fully understand each other and their feelings. Just as long as they don't get married! Also, if he figures out his feelings, he's so blunt about everything I feel like he'd admit them right away and boom. Story over. But then again, its ALL up to the CV's.. we can only ponder and give suggestions..

And about Adi...I cant understand him...Y he s not able 2 differentiate Love and Friendship
How His Family background become the reason behind dat...Its his own mind..he dont knw himself?

In Kulu he was so fond of Pankhu...always staring at her and Adi was too romantic dat time

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I just started watching this show like a week and a half ago so I was trying to catch up with what exactly the background of the story is =P So now I get whats going on lol

@Sukhi: Awww thank you&you can call me Gunjan =) &yes I'm eagerly awaiting the day Adi realizes but then again it's probably going to be done slowly&steadily as they still have to explore their feelings and their pining for each other. I think it makes sense cause afterall, the show is called Pyar Ka Dard...lol
