He made up that adi has brain disease, the reason he said this lie was to save neha's marriage..

becuase neha's in-laws found out that pankhuri's engagement broke after the tilak.. and they were doubting neha's sanskaar and values too so they were going to break neha's relationship with their son naman.. they didn't want neha as DIL because of how pankhuri#s enegagement broke ..

And mamaji knows how much neha loves naman..

so he made up a lie that actually adi didn't break the realtionship.. infact pankhuri and our family broke the engagement .. because Adi's family hid the truth of his brain diseases..

and hearing this Nehas In-Laws did not break the realtionship and neha-naman's marriage was saved because of this lie..

so mamaji basically just made up a lie ..adi doesn't have any disease..
