Born in Nainital on November 20,1987, Sukirti Kandpal was all set to become a lawyer when she was spotted by a casting director of Cinevistaas in a cafe, which changed the direction of her career.
She was first asked to audition for Star One's Dill Mil Gayye, but she instead got a leading role in Sab TV's youthful show Jersey No.10 where she played a tennis player called Sakshi. This got her noticed, and soon, she was offered Dill Mill Gayye again, this time as a replacement for main lead Shilpa Anand. Usually, replacements don't work, but in this case, Sukirti was accepted widely as Dr.Riddhima Gupta, for Dill Mill Gayye. Although she eventually quit the show, Sukirti shot into the limelight with this show.
Sukirti next did an about turn, choosing to play an eccentric character Siddeshwari Singh aka Chutki Dulhan with negative shades in Zee TV's Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.
Sukirti then did what was perhaps the biggest show of her career with Balaji Telefilms' youth show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. The show propelled her to popularity, earning her a large fan following thanks to her diametrically opposite double roles, girl-next-door Piya Jaiswal/Dobriyal and evil princess Maithali. Her fans have often demanded to see her reprise her role in a second season of the show.
Sukirti's next outing as lead was Life OK's Kaisa Ye Ishq Hai, Ajab Sa Risk Hai which became very popular at a late night slot and only increased her fan following. The show had two seasons, where Sukirti's character, Simran Khanna went from being an NRI from Singapore to being accepted in a traditional "sasural" in rural Haryana.
After this show, Sukirti moved back into her favoured genre of youth shows with &TV's Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls, where she played main lead, journalist Debjani Thakur. The show completed 150 episodes as of its ending, which left many fans heartbroken. The show has definitely established Sukirti's versatility and increased her fandom. Her fans are already missing her and are eagerly waiting for her next television venture.

Sukirti did a short role in Zee TV's Rab Se Sohna Ishq as a grey-shaded London NRI, Jazz, which is still remembered by fans. She also did two episodes on Star One's horror show Shh...Phir Koi Hai. Sukirti has also done an episode of Gumraah - The End Of Innocence where she played a teenage girl who found herself pregnant. Sukirti is well known for her episode on Life OK's Humne Li Hai...Shapath, where she played four roles in one episode! Later, she returned to the show for two more episodes. Sukirti has also done an episode for Sony's comedy show, Dekh Bhai Dekh.
IN ADDITION,
Sukirti was awarded Aadhi Aabadi Award as Woman Achiever for 2013. She had participated in Miss India Worldwide paegant 2011, held in Dubai, where she represented India. She made it to the top 10 and also won the crown of Miss Bollywood Diva.
Sukirti has also done a music video with Kailash Kher on Song "Teri Yaad Mein" from album "Chandaan Mein".
Sukirti has appeared in a lot of advertisements till date, Shehnaz Hussain's Fair One Cream Ad, Dove Shampoo Ad, PC Jewellers, Margo facewashes ad, Hyundai Fluidic Verna etc.
Sukirti has also done several photoshoots and rampwalks with Marinating Films, Indiaforums and others.
She is currently preparing for the 2016 edition of Telly Calendar to be shot in Taiwan.
