I liked Abhay because of his personality & character features. He was always there for everyone not only for piya.. he was there for Maya, Haseena & Chand , saved Tracker, Misha , tried to Save T (I guess she was killed ) .

Sid was a sadist. He was a more twisted version of Damon Salvatore...while Damon had his reasons and was redeemable, Sid didn't any of that.

So Sid's job was to only create chaos. And as much as I loved his character, I couldn't understand why AbhIya didn't have any scenes. There should've been a difference between real and reel tbh...ukwim. I'll write a reply after this from my PC with more scenes and will explain the off screen drama too.

Abhay lost his edge tbh. He became a 🐯 after falling for Piya. I loved Abhay and still do, but why did they make him such a wuss. Ki main tumhe protect karne ke liye ye sab kar raha hu Piya...like cmon man 🐷

Ekta Kapoor should've hired us fans to write. We'd do a fab job 😉😆

I liked Sid😁. His scenes were treat to watch. In fact, many viewers did. That's why Sid is good in many fanfics. Even I myself created his version with another name in one of my crossover.

Abhiya scenes were not really great counting those few ones. They were toy of Sid where Piya would just blame Abhay and Abhay would lament his fate. He was a vampire but took no action against sid to save Piya other than playing with Piya. 😴

Don't know why Ekta isn't trying to learn and is continuing to stretch her dramas with her trademark i.e butchering her characters after fabulous start. 🙄

We fans should actually make pkyek 2 ourselves since Ekta don't care anyway 😬

He was different from the usual Male leads. I like him for his suffering, sacrifice, love, care and his smirk. His dialogues were good and witty.

I like pkyek just because of Abhay not even for Piya or his pairing. That's best of vivian dsena and no other of his character came close to Abhay. (At least for me.)

Exactly I feel the same. He was is and always will be the best male lead character. It made you love him even more even though we hated stay away from me.

Naughty Piya (like Misha) would have been cool too.

I don't like how they made Abhay's love for Maithali into a Mockery. It is really sad. I kind of wished then Piya was Maithali. Poor Abhay 😭.

Yes I didn't like how we were not getting Abhiya scenes since Sid's entry and also in the second half due to the Werewolf 😡.

Things I was hoping to see

I would liked to know more about Vampires and there powers.

Piya give Abhay her blood to help him and Abhay does not go. Too far Drinking her blood.

To show how even love wins over a vampire instincts.

More healing kisses

I kind of wish Abhiya fought werewolves together. Meaning Piya gave there weakness to Abhay. Perhaps Piya found out something very lethal to werewolves and told Abhay.

I will add more.

First of all thank you so much for creating this much needed post! I am really excited for sharing my opinions here.

Now coming to the Point---

Likings:-

All the Abhiya scenes and Abhay's beautiful, soulful dialogues ( "Main Andhera hoon.....")

Dislikings:-

There are many.

1. The ultimate ruining of the epic love of Mathili and Abhandra.

2. Piya's character as strong headed person (act before thinking, sometimes a total dumb). Her personality developed a bit though, later on second season. But, I wanted to see a mature, strong, realistic Piya. She was an orphan. Hence, her thinking, life style had to be different and practical. Other than that I loved that fact how she grew deep feeling for Abhay after knowing his real identity (even though it was also a little drama initially!).

3. Making Siddharth a complete dark character rather than a perfect grey. Initially he showed feelings towards Panchi. But later on he was depicted as ultimate sadiist. He could be a game changer of ITV male leads.

4. No character development of Panchi (Making Danish re-entered into her life. Like What the h***! No girl in her sane mind will like that cheater!).

5. The annoying loopholes of the story. If you noticed, initially they had no intention to bring back Mathili as vampire. Might be, they were planing to make Piya as Mathili's reincarnation or something else (That episode of lost pendent in Pandher palace/ Misha and gang's planched, calling Mathili's soul.).

6. The second half of the story. At the end they messed it up totally. Werewolf part had so much potential. Without involvement of Mathili's stuff, they could've write a different story with werewolves and witches.

7. Misha-Kabir's relationship should have shown to the show more. The slow burn love between those two had so much potential.

8. No character development of T and not showing the reason why Kabir dated T out of sudden at the second half of the story. Why she had threaten him and all (I didn't like T and Panchi's deaths at the end.).

9. Jeh and Alina's family history should have shown clearly with the history of Vampire clan and why they were enemies now.

10. No proper background studies for the show. Mathili was Indian princess. Her dressing style and Abhandra's dress as well with others were not Indian. They were completely European inspired. (Like come on, want to copy it then use your brain properly CVs!). The historical significance should have followed.

11. Lastly, how could a person still be in 1st year of college after almost 2.5 years? Like seriously? College campus realities and student life should be shown in ITV serials more realistic way! Isn't it, guys?

These are my options about my best show so far. Even with so many flaws I still do love my Abhiya since 2010, 18th October! It will never change. I also read everyone's replies on this post. I like all of them. By the way, what do you think about my one? Let me know! ❣

I totally agree with you. I was not expecting all this butchering and I was expecting sidchi. I feel he really did have a soft corner for Panchi. I think they looked good together. But Abhiya the best.

Yea they butchered alot. Ametz love story , werewolf story. Characters, the blunders in the show.

I also thought even in second half but what happened to the strong Piya they were promising episode 1. Also the dumb moments not fun.

But regardless I loved the show too.

I really think they really did not need to make Jeh fall for Piya in his weird twisted way. Without love factor it would have been more fun to watch. I don't know what cvs were thinking.

Yup the Ametz clothing for 18th century India 🤪. Indian's did not dress up like this

Also I feel for Werewolf story only Alina(and Dipinita) for revenge should have been sufficient.

So yes they showed T a brainless Barbie doll bimbo. Come on they could have used it probably more effectively. Similarly with Tracker and they kind of tried this formula with Piya. Yes she forgot Abhay but did she also forget who she was before she met Abhay ? So, she could have been practical but with a lost feeling. Like she was missing something? They could have shown her heart talk to Haseena(as a stranger)? I don't know at Abhay's imprisonment location. I feel like they had plenty of chances to explore about Vampires but they did not use it well. Also for once I wanted to see Abhay enjoy being a vampire when he killed that jeh? They could have shown the janwar in Abhay being tamed by Piya's love even as Abhay became a stronger vampire. The janwar was also in love with Piya like the human side of Abhay?

I feel they did not do justice to Ametz story flashback it is was cut too short in first half and they ruined it with Maithali returning and made fun of Abhay's love for Metz.

I also felt they could have added more better scenes for Misha instead of protecting Piya from Abhay, and some silly stuff.

I like Jay with Misha. They would have looked cute together.

Kabir I think he could have been shown differently in second half. Yea I did not expect him to be T's boyfriend.

I did not like the way Piya was trying to get Abhay to reveal his truth at his birthday party. She should not have played with him like that.

Apart from Jeh-Misha jodi (I like him with T more😂), I completely agreed with you. I really didn't like Piya's being nosy in Abhay's personal life. Like who the h*** are you girl to interfere in someone's life!? Chand and Haseena and Maya had so much potentiality to be explored. Alina and Dipanwita's history they never revealed. And did you remember the girl in the forest with whom Abhay was talking alone at night that Piya saw by accident (Episode 4 of first season)? That thing I never understood. Who was she and what were they talking about?

Exactly exactly! Even I wanted Abhay's vampire side to love, possessively ( as it is more animalistic in nature) Piya just like his human side (that is supportive and soft in nature)! Abhay's enjoying his power and becoming a powerful vampire could have been a masterstroke for the 2nd season! But Alas!

There are so many loopholes, so, so many!😢
