Hehe. Same here. I stopped coming on IF after this show. I just realised this morning that my post count is lost where I left it here back in 2013.

you said it yourself, you haven't experienced it in this forum..personally i can't blame the many talented writers for taking off once they realised they would hardly get responses. And esp compared to what it was earlier. Even if someone comes back, they can't survive as a regular FF writer in this forum. Not the kind of serious writers that this forum was once so full of.

About readers dropping out, I guess we both know how that felt Some of us are working professionals or students and when we wrote, we had to balance our profession/academics along with writing. The same readers who encouraged u to write and left comments when u first posted a new story were nowhere to be found when u continued posting updates. I know anyone who knows me here always taunt me for taking ridiculously long breaks to post an update. But what about the time when I was regular? Not like I posted an update for a day but I posted an update once in ten days or max two weeks when I first started. There were times when I stayed up till 4am to finish an update and post it. With each update the no of readers started dropping n likewise my break to post updates increased n now I probably post one or two in a year max. We stand to gain nothing personally or earn anything out of posting updates unlike Youtubers. We give our time and effort and for what? The least we expect is some form of a response which would be gratifying but even if that is not there why bother? I donno about others but writing stories in this forum for me meant staying connected with my readers and friends. If that is not happening I didn't see a point why I should continue writing when my hands are already full with a demanding job and homely chores.

Pls guys do not stop writing.I already said that there are many silent readers and I am one of them.they are waiting for your updates. I seriously want to say something to you truly that I create this account for myself so that l can tell you that continue your writing.me and my friend s are waiting for your updates. We really like to read rental house and it's equal fitoor three short and Love happened once.umaizing stories are there in this forum written by many writers.I create this account to tell all the writers to came back. I am telling this in the behalf of my friends who madly in love with your stories and encourage everyone to create an account in this forum so that response will be good and you guys start writing again.but for that someone have to inform you all about this.they tell me and look I am here to request you all.if you don't believe me then check my account.I recently create this account. I request all the writers that pls complete your pending stories pls.we are waiting.I know it's our mistakes that we were reading your stories silently.we never tried to create an account in this forum.but don't give such type of punishment to us.pls Start writing.pls don't say that you did a mistake,write your stories in this forum.you guys didn't do any mistakes.pls write your stories in this forum. I am telling you response Will come.but pls atleast stat writing.pls give a chance to Silent readers.we will not let your hops down.pls continue soon.and pls tell me your answers so that I can tell it to my friends also.I am waiting for your answers and your updates. I am not blaming you guys.we know it's our fault that we were reading your stories silently on that time.but why are u all talking about the past.talk about present condition and think about it.we know it's our fault but at least give us a chance.we were silent readers on that time and some people are still silent readers.how can you guys jug us without giving us a chance.why you always talk about the past just see present condition.now your silent readers are requesting you to come back but you still talk about those people who left this forum.but what about us ,what about silent readers who are waiting for you guys.what about us who make an account in this forum to tell you that there are still so many readers who are waiting for you.I said you all what I want to say and now it's up to you that you guys want to give your silent readers a chance or not.think about it and give us an answer.we are still waiting for you.think about it and try to tell us soon pls.
