A) It's not based on Maithly ( don't like her so much to write an OS )
B) My stories will always have Pkyek characters . U may get a little confused here ... Ok just read it first :p
THE PRINCESS DIARIES
( Vampire style )
" Ms Piyali ! Ms Piyali ! Please do get ready ! Ur father is calling u , and it's rather urgent "
Pia folded her jacket sleeves up to her arms , she knew what her dad was plotting . She knew the old fool too well . " Whatever it is Panchi , tell father that I am going out and I won't, and I repeat won't attend dinner "
" But Ms Piyali , it's important . And u should dress up, U r after all the vampire princess "Panchi insisted .
Pia really wanted to shut the fatty's mouth but she couldn't (unfortunately , it could be liable to an offence) ." Panchi , god damn it ! I told u to stop calling me princess !! I am not a princess alright !"
" But u r daughter , that's ur birth right " said a young but wise voice .
Pia saw her father standing in her rooms in his ceremonial robes ( she knew it ! The old man was tricking her to meet her some other prince vampire ) . Her father still looked as young as a 20 year old human could . It was weird in a way , Pia was 20 too but her dad was actually 600 years old .
" Dad!"she yelled
" Pia darling stop throwing around tantrums now. U should start behaving like a grown women now "
"Sure dad , and a grown women like me should do what ? Just marry , right ? " Pia spoke
" Of Course not , a grown women learns to be a leader , take the right decisions and learns to be a good wife so she can take care of her husband "
" R u bullsh**ting me ! Dad ! That is so sexist . I mean I get the first 2 points , but the last one ? It's pure sexist . I get that u r from the ... Ugh .. I don't know , 3rd century or something , but I am a modern 21 century female vampire , I am not going to take this lying down . I am going to marry the guy who I want. Pia did feel ashamed , she didn't like lashing out on her father . She did love him , he was the only one she had . But sometimes , like this time ,She didn't want to be the perfect princess , she didn't want to be presented like a frozen tootsie Barbie and get married.
She wanted adventure , feel the rush , explore the human world , and last but not least , fall in love with a guy .. Of her choice . Not some stupid puppet who just wanted a pretty bride . Eff him .
" Dad.. I am sorry , but I-I just want freedom "
" Freedom ? Haven't I given u enough ?"
" U have daddy , but it's just that I have grown up and I want to see the human world , I want to enjoy my life on my own terms and I want to find my own mate . " Pia implored. She knew her dad too well , she knew he would melt seeing her making those big baby brown eyes .

The human world was -AWESOME. No really , Pia hadn't ever experienced so much liveliness in her 20 years of living as a vampire princess in Gotham ( a.k.a vampire town ) . The humans seemed very happy , some distressed , and some just confused . Pia could also sense their scent , it was delicious . But she had promised her father she wouldn't do that , so she wouldn't ... Besides it was against vampire laws . No killing humans .
She roamed around a bit exploring the the town , she was in Durham she discovered . A small little cosy town in the North Carolina . It was pretty cold in the night , and Pia was relieved she didn't have to face the sun .
She hopped inside a 'bar' ( that's what it said outside ) where she found humans laughing around drinking something held in bottles in their booths . Maybe this was the place where the humans most probably got intoxicated , she had heard about places like these . The vampires had them too , except they didn't have alcohol as the humans preferred , they had ancient blood of animals that intoxicated vampires .
She sat down on a stool and looked around on the board . She didn't understand what any of the titles meant and if she had to admit , she was a bit nervous .
" Mind if I buy u a drink ?"
Pia turned to see who had interrupted her . It was a magnificent specie of a man that had taken Pia's attention . Yet Pia could see he wasn't human , his features and eyes screamed vampire .
" Not at all"
He smiled a crooked smile at her , she could feel the female human Hearts beating a little notch higher at that . Oh well , sorry ladies .
" R u a ..?" She started
" A vampire , yes " he laughed
" Oh thank god , it would have been horrible if u weren't one " she said
" Yes .. But may I know why I haven't seen u aren't doing here before ?"
Pia was about to answer when another voice interrupter her . " Now Vikram stop butting around her business . Why can't u let the lady drink in peace "
Pia observed Vikram sharing a laugh with the new intruder guy . Maybe they were friends . They definitely could be , he was a vampire too Pia sensed .
" My apologies for butting in , I am Karan . Viki 's best bud and I am sorry for interrupting ur romantic rendezvous "he joked winking at her.
" Oh no , it ok ! I mean we were just getting to know each other . I am Pia and I just came from Gotham to explore the human world " she says shaking Vikram's hands . But to her surprise Karan kissed her hand .
" Well it's nice meeting u mademoiselle. I am enchanted "
Karan really did lean on the flirty side, she observed . He looked younger too , well they both looked young ( vampires never do age ) but Vikram looked sophisticated with his tie while Karan looked content in his black jacket and unshaven look .
They were both in a way , irresistible ( damn , she really did get lucky ) , but she liked Vikram more , he felt more her type .
" So what's brings u around Pia ?" Vikram asked
" Well I .. I wanted to experience the human world . I was kind of sick with Gotham and so I decided to take an explorers ticket and explore the human world !" She said .
" And that my lady was the best decision u could take . Taking the explorers permit is so totally worth it , observing these humans is like observing ur toys playing around . " Karan said enthusiastically " Unfortunately we cannot eat them"
Pia was a little uncomfortable hearing that , the more she observed Karan , the more he seemed scarier . The kind of guy her father wouldn't give two hoots before kicking out . But he intrigued her .
" Sorry Pia, Karan gets a little excited sometimes " Vikram joked
" Yeah sorry if I spooked u out " Karan said leaning forward towards Pia's face the table .
Pia couldn't help but feel conscious feeling the husky voice so close to her ." Nah, that's fine . We all got a wild side ."
" I would be excited to see urs then Pia , but till then I bid u two lovebirds. My ladies await me "
With those flirty but dangerous words Karan walked away leaving Pia confused .
" Sorry , he gets too ecstatic sometimes . But he's a good guy " Vikram said smiling softly . Pia felt at ease immediately.
Vikram was the kind of guy she wanted to date , sweet , simple and not complicated .
And that's how there evening progressed , talking about un important things , Vikram teaching Pia human terms and sipping on .. Well Pia was bad at remembering human thingy names . Whatever it was , it was light and it made it her happy . So happy that she wanted kiss Vikram right then and there when he smiled that chocolatey crooked smile of his at her .
" So how long is ur explorers permit ?" Vikram asked
" Sadly .. Just 5 days "
" That's it ?! "
" Yes, my father really worries about my safety , and he doesn't want me mixed with humans .. Atleast that's what he told me " she snickered
Vikram shook his head disappointed, " I guess I understand. If I was a father, I wouldn't let my daughter away from me too "
That melted Pia right there on the spot . She adored guys who liked children , maybe it was something about responsibility .
Pia knew it was impossible to fall in love in one evening . Literally impossible , but she really couldn't see why it wasn't possible .
Well maybe the ladies hadn't met Vikram . Ha-Ha! Their loss my gain ( yes Pia knew that was very mature thinking )
" Listen it's been a nice evening out with u .. But I think its time to go now " she said
" Do u have a place to stay ?" He asked
Shoot ! How could she forget she didn't have a place to stay in . She wasn't in Gotham for pete's sake , this was Durham.
" Shit , that totally tripped out of my mind " she giggled
" That's ok , u can stay in my house . I got a guest room and animal blood too if u get thirsty "
This guy sure knew how to treat a princess .
PIA'S TWO DAY ADVENTURE TRIP
REPORT
Human world is awesome !! Tried human fashion , it is so much better than boring old black dresses and gowns :P Tried eating a lot of dishes , but they all tasted the same - like sand . Talked to humans , pleasant people , trust each other easily . I couldn't help but think how easy it would be for me to suck them dry . Karan totally supported me on this but Vikram was against this idea ;) learned driving a car , and a motorbike ( Vikram absolutely hated the last one , but Karan taught me . He's a pro at it ) . Visited museums and Vikram taught me about the vampire history in between( Karan and I kind of got bored though )
Now onto my love life - I think I am falling for Vikram . I really think so . He's kind , handsome , understands me , and basically he's the ideal mate I should have .
But .
We just don't get fireworks . Fireworks is like a phenomenon I have often lead to believe in movies and books that a human feels when he or she falls in love . I mean , it's literally isn't fireworks but it's like a feeling .. A feeling that he's the one u have been waiting for .. Or something . But sometimes I feel Vikram and I don't have that feeling . Am I crazy for doubting what we have ? Is it because we r vampires we can't feel this ' fireworks '? ( technically it could happen , vampires don't have hearts ) . Kissing Vikram is always pleasant . But just pleasant .
I should probably end this note now , we have a camping trip to go to . Vikram and Karan have invited two other vampires for the trip . I am so excited !!

3. Explored the human world with him , enjoyed a lot .
4. Kissed on the rooftop of a hotel .
5. Fell in love
And ..
6. Still had slight doubts about them ...
She saw the three of them busy conversing when she noticed Karan missing . She got up , looked around a little , but she couldn't see him .
"Hey Vikram , have u seen Karan ?" She asked
Vikram smiled " Pia , he's a vampire bachelor . He hates romantic talks, I am sure he found a human lady to fool around with . "
The others laughed out at that , but Pia oddly enough didn't find it amusing . Karan didn't slip out like that , he was the kind of guy who announced what he was about to do .
" Guys , I'll just go look for him , ok ?"
Isabella laughed " Sure Pia , just don't blame us for not stopping u , when u see him in a .. Well u know compromised position "
Pia faked a laugh , she didn't really find it funny . She refused to believe Karan being a man wh**e . He was a fun guy , that's all .He had helped her a lot during these days , and helped her conquer video game levels ( ok , fine lame example ) but most of all , made her laugh when she felt sad .. Missed her father ( yeah , that happened ) . Karan was the guy she had felt most comfortable with in her angry / sad moments . He didn't mind her cussing ( Vikram hated it).
She walking around when she saw a figure sitting on a dock beside the pond . She hoped it was Karan and not a random drunk human .
" Karan ?"
The figure looked back at her direction bewildered . " Pia? What r u doing here ?"
" I think that should be me asking that question " she demanded , hands crossed against her chest .
Karan smiled sheepishly ," The truth?"

" I kind of felt left out , I mean two couples discussing their love life and how they met and bla bla bla, Cut me some slack Pia , I am not built for that ."
Pia laughed hearing Karan's confession ," U could have told us "
" And spoil the camping atmosphere? No sweetheart , I am not that bad "
" They all thought u were getting 'busy 'somewhere "
Abhay laughed drily at that " Well I did make that my reputation didn't I ?"

" A cabin ?!"

She looked around the cabin , it was a small but warm cabin in the middle of the woods . It had basic amenities like a bed and tables and all .
" So u bought this place for urself ?"

I get too disturbed with my responsibilities , and I just want to escape ?" Karan replied .
"U and responsibilities ? Ha! " Pia traded nudging him .

It was beautiful actually , the pond looked deep blue with the moonlight light reflecting off it , the forest looked so green and the air felt fresh . And surprisingly enough Pia got to know about Karan in deeper ways. She didn't see him as the weird but hot guy anymore . Still hot though .
He was much more than that ,he was an insecure guy hiding behind a macho figure head . He was quite sweet . And oddly enough they both connected at newer levels .
" But Karan I just don't get one thing" Pia said giggling ( maybe she had too much of that ancient blood . She should really stop )
" What ?"
" U r handsome , u have gorgeous blue eyes, a perfect jaw and that oh so manly body .. Why wouldn't a women fall u ?" Pia said leaning towards him .
Karan tilted his head smirking at Pia" Did u just flirt with me ?"

She really did have too much to drink tonight .
" So paradise working fine with u and Viki?"Karan asked
Pia sighed " Well it is good , more than good actually , but.."

They didn't speak for a while . Just sitting there in the porch staring at the grey clouds surrounding them . Maybe Karan was right , she was crazy . Vikram was perfect , and her dad would be over the moon having him as his son in law .

Pia stopped Karan then , and held his chin " U never should feel lonely, u r a handsome man who deserves a lovely lady . Except u should stop sleeping around for that "

" Well she's not worth it then ! U r awesome and believe me , U'll get the best one day " Pia said hugging Karan ( she didn't mean to hug him , but her body just felt wobbly and leaning against him felt nice ) .

Karan nodded , and Pia just didn't know what happened the next second . Or how actually .Maybe it was the partial moonlight , the storm , the rain , or the warm cabin atmosphere and whatever , but she found herself kissing Karan that very second .
And that very moment , Pia found what she had been searching for . She finally found her ' heart-racing-tingly' feeling .

With those flirty but dangerous words Karan walked away leaving Pia confused .
" Sorry , he gets too ecstatic sometimes . But he's a good guy " Vikram said smiling softly . Pia felt at ease immediately.
Vikram was the kind of guy she wanted to date , sweet , simple and not complicated .
And that's how there evening progressed , talking about un important things , Vikram teaching Pia human terms and sipping on .. Well Pia was bad at remembering human thingy names . Whatever it was , it was light and it made it her happy . So happy that she wanted kiss Vikram right then and there when he smiled that chocolatey crooked smile of his at her .
" So how long is ur explorers permit ?" Vikram asked
" Sadly .. Just 5 days "
" That's it ?! "
" Yes, my father really worries about my safety , and he doesn't want me mixed with humans .. Atleast that's what he told me " she snickered
Vikram shook his head disappointed, " I guess I understand. If I was a father, I wouldn't let my daughter away from me too "
That melted Pia right there on the spot . She adored guys who liked children , maybe it was something about responsibility .
Pia knew it was impossible to fall in love in one evening . Literally impossible , but she really couldn't see why it wasn't possible .
Well maybe the ladies hadn't met Vikram . Ha-Ha! Their loss my gain ( yes Pia knew that was very mature thinking )
" Listen it's been a nice evening out with u .. But I think its time to go now " she said
" Do u have a place to stay ?" He asked
Shoot ! How could she forget she didn't have a place to stay in . She wasn't in Gotham for pete's sake , this was Durham.
" Shit , that totally tripped out of my mind " she giggled
" That's ok , u can stay in my house . I got a guest room and animal blood too if u get thirsty "
This guy sure knew how to treat a princess .
PIA'S TWO DAY ADVENTURE TRIP

Human world is awesome !! Tried human fashion , it is so much better than boring old black dresses and gowns :P Tried eating a lot of dishes , but they all tasted the same - like sand . Talked to humans , pleasant people , trust each other easily . I couldn't help but think how easy it would be for me to suck them dry . Karan totally supported me on this but Vikram was against this idea ;) learned driving a car , and a motorbike ( Vikram absolutely hated the last one , but Karan taught me . He's a pro at it ) . Visited museums and Vikram taught me about the vampire history in between( Karan and I kind of got bored though )
Now onto my love life - I think I am falling for Vikram . I really think so . He's kind , handsome , understands me , and basically he's the ideal mate I should have .
But .
We just don't get fireworks . Fireworks is like a phenomenon I have often lead to believe in movies and books that a human feels when he or she falls in love . I mean , it's literally isn't fireworks but it's like a feeling .. A feeling that he's the one u have been waiting for .. Or something . But sometimes I feel Vikram and I don't have that feeling . Am I crazy for doubting what we have ? Is it because we r vampires we can't feel this ' fireworks '? ( technically it could happen , vampires don't have hearts ) . Kissing Vikram is always pleasant . But just pleasant .
I should probably end this note now , we have a camping trip to go to . Vikram and Karan have invited two other vampires for the trip . I am so excited !!

" And since then we have been together , travelled Asia , Europe , and everywhere !" Isabella joked.
Pia sat cuddled near Vikram , hearing Benjamin and Isabella share their story . It was very romantic , falling in love during the French Revolution . Pia wished she could have a story like that .. But all she had was .
1.Met Vikram at a bar .
2. Stayed a night at his house sleeping ( literally sleeping ).
3. Explored the human world with him , enjoyed a lot .
4. Kissed on the rooftop of a hotel .
5. Fell in love
And ..
6. Still had slight doubts about them ...
She saw the three of them busy conversing when she noticed Karan missing . She got up , looked around a little , but she couldn't see him .
"Hey Vikram , have u seen Karan ?" She asked
Vikram smiled " Pia , he's a vampire bachelor . He hates romantic talks, I am sure he found a human lady to fool around with . "
The others laughed out at that , but Pia oddly enough didn't find it amusing . Karan didn't slip out like that , he was the kind of guy who announced what he was about to do .
" Guys , I'll just go look for him , ok ?"
Isabella laughed " Sure Pia , just don't blame us for not stopping u , when u see him in a .. Well u know compromised position "
Pia faked a laugh , she didn't really find it funny . She refused to believe Karan being a man wh**e . He was a fun guy , that's all .He had helped her a lot during these days , and helped her conquer video game levels ( ok , fine lame example ) but most of all , made her laugh when she felt sad .. Missed her father ( yeah , that happened ) . Karan was the guy she had felt most comfortable with in her angry / sad moments . He didn't mind her cussing ( Vikram hated it).
She walking around when she saw a figure sitting on a dock beside the pond . She hoped it was Karan and not a random drunk human .
" Karan ?"
The figure looked back at her direction bewildered . " Pia? What r u doing here ?"
" I think that should be me asking that question " she demanded , hands crossed against her chest .
Karan smiled sheepishly ," The truth?"
" The truth "
" I kind of felt left out , I mean two couples discussing their love life and how they met and bla bla bla, Cut me some slack Pia , I am not built for that ."
Pia laughed hearing Karan's confession ," U could have told us "
" And spoil the camping atmosphere? No sweetheart , I am not that bad "
" They all thought u were getting 'busy 'somewhere "
Abhay laughed drily at that " Well I did make that my reputation didn't I ?"
" Yup"
" How come u didn't think that ?" Karan asked genuinely looking at Pia.
" Because .. I think u r more than just that .. U r a fun guy and... I don't know . I felt like looking out for u . U r my friend , Karan , I will always look out for u "
" Thanks.. Pia" he said and enveloped Pia in a brief bear hug .
Pia had always gotten a little uncomfortable with Karan being too close . It made her feel.. More tingly ? She had always assumed the feeling to go away when she would kiss Vikram . Strangely it didn't and the tingly feeling never occurred with her and Vikram .
" Hey u wanna have fun ?" Karan said
" Which includes what ?" Pia asked
" Just follow me ,i have a cabin around here " Abhay answered
" A cabin ?!"

Pia held onto Karan's back tight as they rode on the bike . Pia could feel the cool wind slapping her face , she loved it . The surrounding around her ran in a rush .
This was everything Pia had wanted to feel when she arrived in the human world . This reminded her of her rebellious stage that her father so hated .
They soon drove back to Karan's cabin because it began to rain , laughing along .
" But what about Vikram ? Wouldn't he worry where I am " Pia asked
" I just texted him , he's fine with it "
She looked around the cabin , it was a small but warm cabin in the middle of the woods . It had basic amenities like a bed and tables and all .
" So u bought this place for urself ?"
" Yes.. This place gives me a peace of mind . Sometimes when
I get too disturbed with my responsibilities , and I just want to escape ?" Karan replied .
"U and responsibilities ? Ha! " Pia traded nudging him .
" Oh Pia.. U won't get it " Karan Said leading Pia outside on the porch to sit.
" Try me "
Karan poured Pia a glass of ancient blood and they sipped on it as they sat enjoying the rain .
" Let's just say , I am from Utopia and I am a guy who's really important and has great responsibilities .But I want freedom from being the nice trusty guy . I want to be the bad guy for once . I want to be the guy girls fall in love with . Because u know what ? I am sick of being the spoiled prince. And no matter how hard I try , it's always some other guy who takes my chick . Always ."Karan spoke .
" Wow .. That's some deep sh*t, didn't expect that " Pia said
" Told ya"
But Pia could understand what Karan meant . Wasn't her situation the same? Hadn't she escaped Gotham because she couldn't stand being the princess . She wasn't made up of princess material . She didn't know how to rule over a bunch of vampires. That was more her younger sister , Misha.
" I understand u " Pia said
" U do ?"
" Oh yeah .. Believe it or not , more than I should " Pia said laughing .
They talked about stuff as the stormy weather rolled on . It was beautiful actually , the pond looked deep blue with the moonlight light reflecting off it , the forest looked so green and the air felt fresh . And surprisingly enough Pia got to know about Karan in deeper ways. She didn't see him as the weird but hot guy anymore . Still hot though .
He was much more than that ,he was an insecure guy hiding behind a macho figure head . He was quite sweet . And oddly enough they both connected at newer levels .
" But Karan I just don't get one thing" Pia said giggling ( maybe she had too much of that ancient blood . She should really stop )
" What ?"
" U r handsome , u have gorgeous blue eyes, a perfect jaw and that oh so manly body .. Why wouldn't a women fall u ?" Pia said leaning towards him .
Karan tilted his head smirking at Pia" Did u just flirt with me ?"
" Maybe I did " Pia teased
Karan shrugged " Because they think I am a man who just has physical needs . Like Vikram thinks too "
" Then u should show them ur real side too " Pia said
Karan smiled " It's hard ... I don't really trust people easily . And it's not like I haven't liked a women before , I have . But .."
" But ?"
Karan looked deep into Pia's eyes then " She's already taken . And I am pretty sure she doesn't like me the way I want "
" Damn , that's the worst . When the girl u like already likes someone else "
" Yes, it really does hurt a lot , but hey, at least we have friends to keep us happy "
Pia laid her head on Karan's shoulder , it felt nice . She hadn't ever connected to Vikram to a deeper lever like this , things were mostly perfect for them . Too perfect .And she was a bit worried over the fact that she had just flirted with Karan and noticed his blue eyes and his kissable jaw. Wait , kissable ?
She really did have too much to drink tonight .
" So paradise working fine with u and Viki?"Karan asked
Pia sighed " Well it is good , more than good actually , but.."
Karan laughed " There's always a 'but ' eh ?"
" Yeah , and I hate that . Vikram is perfect , beyond perfection that is . I don't even deserve him .. But it's just that we don't have fireworks .. U know ?"
Karan started to laugh at that , disturbing Pia's bliss on his shoulder ." U r kidding right ?"
" No , I am not " Pia responded stubbornly
" Well , news for u then . Fireworks don't exist , it's all in human movies and books . "Karan said
" No! I refuse to believe that "
" Whatever then "
They didn't speak for a while . Just sitting there in the porch staring at the grey clouds surrounding them . Maybe Karan was right , she was crazy . Vikram was perfect , and her dad would be over the moon having him as his son in law .
" It's just that , I never get that .. Tingly feeling when I kiss him . " she said awkwardly" I don't feel my heart beating faster or anything "
" Um, Pia we don't really have hearts"
" U know what I mean !" Pia said
They both got up , wobbling a bit with silly expressions on their faces . "It was nice here tonight Karan , I really enjoyed a lot "
" I am glad , I didn't feel lonely too "
Pia stopped Karan then , and held his chin " U never should feel lonely, u r a handsome man who deserves a lovely lady . Except u should stop sleeping around for that "
Karan chuckled " Already
did that , but she still chose the other guy "
"The girl u liked ?" Pia asked confused
" Yup "
" Well she's not worth it then ! U r awesome and believe me , U'll get the best one day " Pia said hugging Karan ( she didn't mean to hug him , but her body just felt wobbly and leaning against him felt nice ) .
" Thank u Pia .. I appreciate that . And just so u know , u r beautiful too. U r smart and funny , and.. I think u can make anyone fall for u . "
Pia leaned back to look at Karan's face , it was all serious . So he wasn't kidding around . " Aww, Thanks Karan .. I appreciate that . "
Karan nodded , and Pia just didn't know what happened the next second . Or how actually .Maybe it was the partial moonlight , the storm , the rain , or the warm cabin atmosphere and whatever , but she found herself kissing Karan that very second .
And that very moment , Pia found what she had been searching for . She finally found her ' heart-racing-tingly' feeling .

" So did she fall for prince Abhayendre? Is everything going according to the plan Danish ?"
" Lord , everything is perfect . But after my recent observations , I think there's going to be a little trouble in paradise " Danish said quivering .
" Trouble?!" The king thundered .
" Yes.. I think ,I am hoping she won't choose the other man , who's been interfering with our plan "
"Oh I know my daughter , she will choose the right man " the king said with a finality .
