Advik turns Sama while Abhay catches up with Rehan to rescue Pia
Abhay launched himself at Rehan. But Rehan was ready this time. He caught Abhay's arm mid-air and swinging it threw him far away.
Abhay got back on his feet instantly and blocked Rehan's blow by shielding himself with his arms and threw him off of him. A fierce battle ensued between the most powerful predator and the most powerful alpha of the werewolf clan who was a descendant of two powerful clans in his race. Dehardun's forests stood to witness the two most powerful beings from the enemy clans fight it out. One fighting to protect his love and the other to avenge the death of his mother who had been cruelly snatched away from him.
Pia had regained some of her consciousness back and she struggled to get herself into a sitting position. Her blindfold had somehow come off and she tried blinking her eyes to focus. When she looked outside the window of the car she noticed Abhay was fighting a guy who was of his stature in build. She knew it was her kidnapper and she wondered how he could fight Abhay so well. Abhay was a powerful vampire and now she was certain this guy was no mortal, if he could deflect Abhay's blows so easily. Pia tried to get out of the ropes binding her but she couldn't make it budge. Her Abhay was in trouble and she wished she could help him in anyway whatsoever. She tried kicking the car door with her heels.
On the other side Abhay and Rehan had injured each other gravely and both of them had got very weak but neither seemed to be any mood to relent. Rehan swiped hard at Abhay's face leaving a deep gash making him howl in agony. Rehan knew Pia could come around any moment and he did not wish to transform before her or expose himself to her. Alina should never get to know about this. He attacked Abhay when he had him cornered against a tree but Abhay was too quick for him. Jumping onto the tree Abhay somersaulted and landed right behind Rehan and grabbing his shoulders sank his fangs into his neck while Rehan's body gave a violent jerk. He screamed in pain and tried to throw Abhay off but his grip was stronger. Gathering every bit of last energy left in him, he grabbed Abhay's head from behind and flung him onto the ground and tried to escape but Abhay caught his feet and pulled him down. Rehan knew he was no way going to make it and so with immense difficulty he focused all his energies and mentally summoned his minions for help.
The fight had rendered Abhay extremely feeble but he could not let Rehan get away alive. He would never risk Pia's life again. He had to finish this werewolf once and for all. Pulling himself off the floor, he grabbed Rehan and before he could go in for the final kill he heard the howling of wolves and in a heartbeat he was surrounded by six to seven of them who were still in their human form but their eyes glowed a fierce yellow and they advanced in on him slowly.

When Sama opened her eyes, she could not understand why all the pains from her body have gone. Was she dead? But then, why could she still see Advik? And there was a nasty smell around her. She could not understand what was happening to her but she could feel a burning sensation in her throat. Did Advik made her swallow some new kind of medicine which could heal instantly, but leave a burning taste behind? She looked around in confusion and then suddenly remembered Pia getting kidnapped. She began to get up with a start, but the speed with which she found herself moving surprised herself. But this was no time for thinking about such trivia. Pia's life was in danger, and besides this nasty smell was pushing her anger buttons to extreme limits and strangely the smell was coming from the direction in which those kidnappers had taken Pia. She pulled Advik's sleeve urgently, "Come on Advik, what are we waiting for? We need to save Pia. The two men who kidnapped her were too strong and there might be more to help them. Abhay may not be able to handle them all alone. We need to go Advik."
"Sama, are you sure, are you feeling alright? Don't you want to know how you healed so perfectly?" Advik asked in a cautious voice as now he was fearing how would Sama react when she would come to know of her and his identity, but Sama had no time to dwell on that at the moment as she spoke in a hurried tone, "Seriously Advik, you can boast of your top-secret medical skills later. Right now, we need to save Pia and get away from this nasty smell, but why is this smell coming from the direction of kidnappers, I wonder. It was not there before." Sama's last words quickly caught Advik's attention. Nasty smell! That could only mean one thing!! Werewolves!! Werewolves, like vampires have learnt to mask their scent over the last few decades, but a new born member of either species could still smell them out, and if Sama could scent a nasty smell, then that means that Pia was kidnapped by werewolves. But who was behind this, Alina or Rehan? Well he could find that out later. Sama was right, they need to go and help Abhay in rescuing Pia right now and Sama's newborn powers may come in handy and so he quickly threw aside other thoughts and spoke to Sama, "Let's follow the smell Sama, maybe that would lead us to the kidnappers!" "Alright!" Sama said, and they began running across the trail in the woods from where Sama felt the nasty smell coming.
The speed at which she was running shocked Sama. She has never been able to run this fast ever. Maybe it was some in-built defence mechanism of hers which came to light only now as she faced a dire situation. Her thought did not slow her down and soon they reached the trail of the nasty smell ended. One look and Sama knew she was right in rushing down to here as they saw Abhay's way blocked by around half a dozen powerful men two of whom were the same people whom Sama had seen kidnapping Pia; while another strong built but badly wounded man was taking away a struggling Pia. Sama's anger knew no bounds now. She lunged at the wounded Rehan and threw him off her with one single punch. She was shocked at her own strength. But maybe the man was too badly hurt and that's why she could threw him off. A part of Sama's brain also registered that this man had the same nasty smell as she had been following to reach Pia. The smell was for some reason driving Sama's anger in a new frenzy and she kicked him with all her might, sending him some 20 feet away, once again shocking herself. Even if this man was wounded, it was not humanly possible for her to kick a man with such a force. Meanwhile, Pia finally managed to break her bounds and rushed to Abhay who was already being helped by Advik in moving away the men who had kidnapped her. She saw Abhay and Advik together throwing off the 6 powerful men to clear their path and Abhay rushed to Pia and took her in the embrace of his strong muscular arms. She hugged him back with all her strength and spoke in between sobs, "I.. I.. am sorry Abhay. I should have listened to you. Ar... are you alright."
"I am alright Pia, they cannot harm me. But why did you have to do this. I should have known that you would always do the opposite of what you are asked. What if I was late Pia? How could you do this to me Pia? Do you think I could have ever forgiven myself for being such an idiot as to believe your lies had anything happened to you? You have been driving me nuts ever since you came into my life. I was supposed to hate you Pia, but instead I ended up falling hopelessly in love with you. Can you imagine, a ruthless vampire like me became such a sissy bodyguard in your love? I am not even the same Abhay as you and I saw in that stupid gadget of yours. I don't even remember if I was ever like him, and yet, ever since you barged into my life, my mind has revolved around nothing but you. Yes, as much as I hate to admit it, it's true that I love you Pia, and I just cannot lose you." Abhay finally gave words to his long suppressed feelings making Pia smile between her tears. It felt so good to finally hear him say that he loved her. She has felt his love and care for a long time now, yet, hearing it in words from his own mouth felt like a confirmation seal on their relationship. A relationship which started they themselves did not know how and yet, she herself was yet to express her own feelings to him and somehow right now in the woods, surrounded by powerful enemies, seemed like the perfect time to finally say which she had been feeling for a really long time, "I love you too Abhay. You were supposed to kill me, but instead you ended up saving me each and every time. You claimed to hate me, and yet, my slightest discomfort drove you into distress. You left no opportunity to taunt me or insult me, yet whenever I was in slightest pain, you went overboard in caring for me. How could I not love you Abhay? I know that you are probably a ruthless monster now, but we will work around it. Right now, I only know that I love you, no matter how insane it is to love a monster, but I just can't help loving you."
Advik smiled inwardly at their confession. Finally his plans had fallen into place. But he could not spend too much time basking in the glory of his victory as his attention was diverted to Sama who was fighting alone with Rehan. She did not even know who and what was Rehan. But Advik was impressed by her fighting skills. For someone who had never fought a battle and who did not even know her own powers yet, she was truly fighting remarkably as if she was a trained warrior. But just then, Rehan instead of countering her attacks, lunged forwards towards Pia. This infuriated Sama to such an extent that she lunged at him and without even realizing what she was doing, she brought out her new razor sharp canines and dug them deep in Rehan's throat. Pia gasped in shock. Sama, her best friend, a vampire, how, when?? But more than her, it was Sama herself who was shocked. What did she do just now? How was that possible? She is a human, not an animal, then how...? She retreated in shock and Abhay looked at Advik in shock as the realization hit him. Advik looked down a bit shamefaced. The moment of truth had finally come. But before Abhay could say anything to Advik, he saw Rehan trying to attack Pia again, and so he leapt at him and the two duelled with each other. Rehan seeing his minions lying unconscious on ground, and himself outnumbered in the presence of three vampires, tried to escape from there and Abhay followed him leaving behind extremely shocked Sama and Pia and a speechless Advik.
It was Pia who spoke first, "Sama, you a vampire!! I thought you were a human!" "What rubbish Pia? Of course I am a human. And vampires!! They don't exist right! This is 2083!! I know vampires became a rage early this century, but even that was all fiction only." Sama replied back defiantly, but her voice carried no conviction even to her own ears. "Then how do you explain your fangs Sama?" Pia asked. "F..fangs, what are you talking of Pia, I have no fangs!" Sama replied but she herself knew that it was a lie. She finally broke down, "I don't know anything! How did this happen? Trust me Pia, I was a human till these kidnappers attacked me. I thought I was dying, but then I suddenly got up all healed up and now this!" Suddenly a thought occurred to Sama, "Pia, do you .. do you think these attackers were vampires, and maybe that's why I became like them!!! Oh no!!! I can't.. I can't be like them. They were so horrible. I am not horrible Pia.. I am not.. Please trust me."
"They were not vampires. They were werewolves!" Pia and Sama were shocked at Advik's voice. How did Advik knew all this, Pia wondered, "What?? How do you know?? And if they were werewolves, then who converted Sama? Don't tell me it was Abhay, because I won't believe it!! He came here almost instantly. He just could not have converted Sama." Pia demanded furiously shocking Sama as she realized the meaning behind Pia's words. They meant that Abhay.. the man whom her best friend had just confessed her love to was also a vampire!!! But Pia was a human, right. She could smell her blood and suddenly she felt that burning thirst again in her throat. She somehow managed to ignore it and then reflected on the past few moments of the day. No, Abhay had not bitten her. He had run off to save Pia on her own insistence. The last person who had been with her was... Advik!!!! "Advik!" Sama spoke in a tone which Advik knew held accusations, shock and a sense of betrayal in it. "I am sorry Sama. I had no option. Forgive me for being selfish Sama, but I just could not lose you after realizing my love for you." Advik replied in a sad voice, shocking Pia as she understood the meaning behind these words. Advik, the man whom she had come to trust so much was also a vampire and who had just turned her best friend also into a vampire!!! Suddenly she felt her world going upside down!! Was nothing normal here? Even her attackers were werewolves!! She felt like she was in a bad dream... an extremely bad dream!!!!

Abhay now knew who his adversary was. It was Rehan Verma, the leader of the werewolves' clan of the far-East. The clan, which Abhay had nearly destroyed through his assistant Zaisha. Rehan had been fool enough to fall for her charms, even though he knew that she was a vampire. But what does Rehan wants from Pia? Why is he after her? Has he come to know about her powers, or is this personal revenge? But whatever the reason may be, Abhay wasn't concerned with that. What mattered to him was that he had dared to kidnap his Pia and hurt her. And that was an unforgivable sin in Abhay's eyes. Rehan would have to pay for this sin. He would make sure of it. With his super fast speed he easily caught up with Rehan who was already badly wounded. Well he deserved that for hurting Pia. The sight of Pia nearly bleeding to death with gruesome injuries all over her body not so long ago came to his mind, and Abhay's anger knew no bounds. He vowed to make Rehan suffer in an even bigger way and he kicked him hard in the gut making him fly high in the air. Rehan was too wounded to transform into his wolf form, so he tried fighting in his human form which in its current wounded state was no match for the powers, strength and speed of the king of supernaturals - Abhay Raichand. Nevertheless, Rehan was not the one to accept defeat so easily and so he tried punching him, but Abhay blocked his punch in one swift move and grabbed him by his collar. He punched him hard in his stomach making a stream of blood come out of his mouth and Rehan landed a few feet away. Abhay lunged at him again, but suddenly Rehan vanished completely. There was no sign of Rehan anywhere. Abhay looked around in surprise before the realization hit him that this was a mega illusion spell. But, only the witch queen could perform this spell with so much perfection, then does that mean Liana was helping Rehan? But why, and since when? Abhay closed his eyes and tried concentrating on Rehan's smell, but he and Liana had carefully masked it. Abhay groaned in frustration. How could Liana do this? He has dared to mess with him, now she too has joined the list of creatures that deserve no mercy from Abhay Raichand. He was right about her, and he was right in stopping Pia from talking to her. He will find them all and punish them for messing with him. They all will have to pay the price of messing with the king of the supernaturals. But Alina, what is her role in all this. According to Haseena's diary, she had been his friend, but he could not see any trace of friendship in her now. Maybe that was some other Alina. He would think about that later.
Right now he needs to go back to Pia and ensure her to safety and also deal with Advik. How could he turn Sama into a vampire? Agreed, she had no other way to survive, but since when did Advik start feeling mercy? What was missing in this puzzle? There was definitely something going on with Advik when it came to Sama. But what?? Was he in love with her? Abhay laughed at the very idea of Advik - the ultimate manipulator being in Love!! Maybe this too was part of some of his top secret plans. But one thing was sure, Pia was no longer safe even in Sama's company. She may have been her best friend, but now being a new born vampire, she would find it tough to control her blood-thirst. Besides, Pia's blood as it is calls out to all supernaturals. She is not safe with anyone. Hell, the only place she is safe is with him. He wished he could make Pia move in permanently with him, but he knew her too well. She would only freak out at the mere idea and no way would she agree to this suggestion and call him a pervert. But hey, he was not having any such thoughts behind this idea, or was he??? He himself was not sure any longer.
