Chapter8
Abhay and piya both sat in abhay's black luxurious mercedes. Piya sat beside abhay.
Suddenly abhay came towards piya, their faces were few inches away. Piya became frightened and her breathing almost stopped. Abhay brought his hand forward towards piya.
Piya-: (stammering) ab.. Abh..abhay wha.. What are u...u doi...doing?
Abhay took the seat belt from piya's behind and fixed it.
Abhay-: (while fixing the belt saw piya staring at him)what? I am fixing ur seat belt. Why are u staring at me?
Piya-:(relieved) oh I thought that...
Abhay-:(saw her cheeks getting red and reading her thoughts ) what? What did I do? I was just helping u by the way what did u thought(smirking)?
Piya-:(embarrassed) no, nothing I was just, I mean... anyway thanks.
Abhay-: (smiling)oh its ok.
Abhay started the car and drove towards the dehradhun main city.
Piya kept quiet during the whole journey as she was highly feeling embarrassed. Abhay thought to break the silence and to make the situation normal.
Abhay-: piya, are u feeling hungry?
Piya-: no, no I am fine.
Abhay-: ok we have nearly reached at spice garden multiplex. Which movie u want to watch?
Piya-:(excitedly) ek main aur ekk tu.
Abhay-: what? Is this a movie name?
Piya-: yes, and u know imran khan is the main actor. I love him so much.
Abhay-: what? Who is this? I have never heard about someone like that.
Piya-: (surprised) what? U don't know imran khan, abhay I am 100% sure now that u don't belong to this century.
Abhay-: (not at all surprised)piya, obviously I am from this century, do I look like some 100 years old to u that evertime u ask this question everytime?
Piya-: yes.
Abhay-: what?
Piya-: yes, though u don't look like but ur choices prove that I am right(while giggling).
Abhay-:(amused) u r seriously crazy. I think u need to get addmitted in some mental clinic.
Piya-:(glaring at abhay) I think u need that type of treatment.
Abhay stopped the car infront of the large multiplex. It was not much crowded. He parked the car in the parking slot and got down. He opened the door for piya and both went inside the multiplex.
Abhay-: piya, u stay here I will get the tickets ok.Piya nodded and abhay left from there.
After 10 minutes abhay came back with two tickets.
Abhay-: let's go inside the show will start in 15 minutes.
Piya-: yea, ok actually abhay can we take some popcorns?
Abhay-: yea, sure. Which flavour?
Piya-: butter
Abhay-: ok u wait here, I will bring it.
Abhay came back with one large packet of popcorn.
Piya-: wow, it's tasty. Ok let's go inside I don't want to get late.
Abhay-: ok
Abhay and piya both got inside and checked their ticket numbers. They both have got a corner seat on third row. Abhay and piya both went towards their seat and sat there.
The film started and by seeing imran khan on the screen piya started got exicited and out of exitement she kissed on abhay's cheek.
Abhay stared at her shocked and wide eyed.
After realising what she have done she immediately backed off.
Piya-:(felling highly embarrassed and stammering) I .. I am... I mean I am extremely sorry(not meeting abhay's gaze).
Abhay-: (Came out of his shocked state and said coldly) it's ok.
Rest of the film both watched quietly.
Abhay-: (in his mind) why I am feeling so happy after she kissed me? when her warm lips touched my cold cheeks I felt like my desire arousing. I felt like hugging her and kissing her. Oh god, I have to control myself. I can't fall in love with her. She is a human being. I need to talk with someone, I know there is only.one person who can help me, kabir. Yes, I will talk to him tomorrow itself.
While abhay was thinking all this the ringing of bell brought him back to reality. He saw piya was sitting beside him and tears were dropping from her eyes.
Abhay-:(puzzled) piya, are u alright? Why are u crying?
Piya-:(wiped her tears and smiled) no abhay, I am fine I was just crying as the end of the movie was really sad. U didn't feel like crying?
Abhay-:(relieved) no, I am not mad like u who cries by seeing a movie. I think it is a useless movie.
Piya-: what? Do u think I am mad? I think u don't have any emotions that's why u are not feeling anything.
Abhay-:(in his mind) piya, u don't know that u have told the truth only. Vampires don't have any emotions.
Piya-: what happened abhay, don't u want to go or u want to stay here and watch one more show?
Abhay-: no, no I will surely get mad if I watch this movie for one more time.
Piya-:(angrily) abhay, this was a good movie. How dare u say my imran khan bad?
Abhay-: ok, ok let's go out. We need to go for a drive too.
Piya-:(happily) ok, let's go
Abhay and piya got out of the multiplex and was about to sit in the car, when suddenly someone called from backwards "piya"...
