A tall boy got out from the car and pia was quite curious about him for some reason. The boy was clad in a black jacket, dark jeans and an ash-coloured shirt. His face was fair, extremely handsome but had a hard look in his perfectly cut face that told he was a tough lad. Although they did not know each other, pia had a strange feeling that she knew him. At that moment, pia's soft black eyes locked with the grey razor sharp ones of the boy. They stared at each other and pia was unable to break it till she collided with someone.
Across the parking lot, abhay was also a bit perplexed. He had to take admission to the college to hide himself by mixing among the teenagers. Taking admission would be easy for him. His foster dad had donated a large sum to the college and if that was not enough, he will use his powers. They had come to dehradun a week ago and they were busy settling down. He helped his dad buy businesses and now was free. He would do what he would like. Most of the college boys will soon begin to hate him or be in awe of him. The girls, they would be his cattle. Women's liberation was the greatest gift human society ever gave to him in his 150 years of new life.
Abhay surveyed pia by his mental powers. This girl was interesting to him. He generally viewed humans as crap- they were mostly worse than animals. Few among them is actually worthy of the term human. But he had never met a girl like pia before. He was quite enjoying boring into pia's mind. He saw a purity, lovingness, strength which was not rude and dominating, understanding nature- all that was so rare in humans. His sarcastic side said- if it was long ago, this girl would have been sacrificed to a tantric goddess, she is so pure. He scolded himself- stop thinking rubbish. That stuff happened long ago, even before your time. This is the 21st century.
His lock was disrupted when pia collided with a girl. Abhay had his mind-reading capacity switched on, so he automatically scanned the mind of this second girl also. This one was an empty shell and a self-involved idiot. The shallow mind of this second girl also seemed to bring abhay back to his normal senses, or so it seemed to him.
He told to himself-" nothing has happened to you abhay. You were attracted to this girl just because she will make a nice prey. Get your mind off her."
He expected a face-off between the two.True to his expectations, the idiot started a drama scene on the college courtyard by shouting and flapping her her hands.
Pia, abhay, tanushree and the two girls upstairs all saw the drama in their own way.

Pia was taken aback when she collided with someone and heard a female saying " ouch."
Abhay had looked into tanushree or t's mind and knew she had deliberately collided with pia. He assumed her name to be something like t because she had this letter written in golden needlework on her fancy bag. He saw a meanness in her shallow mind which was not surprising to him. He thought to himself that if things get serious, he will intervene. He however had a second thought. He felt that t will make the best girlfriend for him, easy to use and dispose off and he would better not confront her.
Tanushree had multiple emotions when she saw pia. The first was a feeling of dislike. She never knew what she wanted in life and was unhappy that all girls in earth did not have hot appearances and wore short clothes. She was too dumb to realise that if it was that way, she would lose herself in the crowd. The second feeling was that of insecurity. She was the hottest girl in the college ( actually no one else was as self indulgent as her) and when she saw that pia has a pretty face, she felt she would have competition.
Up in the balcony, the two girls misha and ruhi were talking to themselves:-
" oh oh, look at that meanie. Didn't she do that deliberately?"
" yes, she is such a monster. What will happen to that little girl?"
" nothing will happen. I am going down to help that new girl. "
" why do you always like fights? Oh god, I am scared."
" stay here and pray to god, you dumbo. You have to call god to deal with an ambolkar? Then it is better to strangle your own neck. I am not afraid of anything."
The girl misha was already running towards the staircase and she now rushed down the stairs and ran to the courtyard. She had a quick temper and was about to fight with t when she saw something unexpected and stopped on her tracks.
That small girl was facing up to t. she was definitely not a coward. abhay was also impressed by pia. she was calm and quiet but did not accept any wrong done to her.
