MORNING AFTER THE DAWN

Pia awoke to the caress of rose petals along her shoulder, down to her arm. "Good morning beautiful." Abhay said softly kissing her shoulder. She lay with her back against his chest and smiled as she thought about the amazing night they had had. "How are you doing?" Abhay asked as he continued to kiss her shoulder making his way now to her neck. "Hmmm." Pia said melting against him. "That good huh?" he said with a chuckle still kissing her neck. Pia turned around slowly so that she was now on her back looking up at him.
"That good!" she said smiling. Abhay laughed and leaning down gave her a soft kiss which quickly became a hot intense kiss. As he moved to her neck Pia's eyes fell on the clock. "Oh my god 10:00!" she yelled and then quieter "10:00! Abhay" she said pushing him to get off of her.
"Pia we're newlyweds." he said against her neck. "We're allowed to sleep in.In fact it's expected that we not leave our bedroom for the first 48 hours." Pia bit back a laugh. "Abhay stop it," she said as he now moved to her shoulder. "Please Abhay!" She said pouting. "Everyone must be waiting for us.Have u forgotten that we have to go to my house at 11:00.Let me up."
"No!" he said stubbornly.,
"Abhay!" He stared at her for a few seconds and then moved off her and on to the bed.
"I'll let you go now." he said putting his hands behind his head. "But this is the last time. During our honeymoon I won't take any excuses." Pia shook her head at his impatience and got up dragging the sheet with her.
"I'm going to take a shower." she said.
"I'll join you" Abhay said starting to get up.
"NO!" she said backing up. Abhay fell back down on to the bed. "I thought the word no was going to leave our vocabulary now that we're married." Pia giggled. "Abhay we need to quickly get ready.Showers together won't be quick." Abhay opened his mouth to say something and Pia quickly shushed him. Grabbing a gold sari with deep purple thread and bead work and a matching purple blouse she walked into the bathroom.

Pia walked out of the bathroom. Her hair still wet but her sari tied, no make-up on yet. Abhay with a blue button up shirt and dockers in hand looked up at her as she walked to the armoire, picking up a hair brush to run through her hair. "How is it possible that every single day she just got more and more beautiful" he thought. Walking to her he gently took her into his arms.
"Abhay!" Pia warned thinking he was up to no good.
Abhay just looked down at her intently. "Last night was the best night of my existence.I'm a very lucky guy." he said in a serious tone. Pia stared up at him questioningly. "I will always try my best to keep you happy Pia."
Pia felt her eyes fill with tears. She put her arms around his neck and pulled him close. "I'm the lucky one." she said softly. "Even in my dreams, I couldn't have imagined I'd find a love like this. So intense so true. I was so scared that we would never be able to get this normal life ever"
Abhay hugged her close. Then pulling away in the usual laid back Abhay style he said "Yeah you're right, you are pretty lucky."
Pia hit him on the arm. "I give you an inch and you take a mile." she said. "Now hurry up and go get ready" she said pushing him to the door.
"You've got the bossy wife stuff down pat ." he said laughing as she threw a pillow at him.
When Abhay came out of the bathroom Pia was all ready. Her hair curled up and falling down her back. Her make-up minimal. Her sari perfectly tied. Her choora and mehendi showing off her new bride status. "Ready?" Abhay questioned. Pia nodded as Abhay took her hand and they walked to the door to leave to the Dobrial mansion
As Abhay and Pia walked into the Dobrial Mansion they were greeted by all of their friends and Pia's parents happily. "Hey good morning oops good afternoon newly weds" Misha and Panchi said giggling
"Good afternoon" Pia replied shyly
"How was the night babes. " Misha asked as Pia felt her face turning red and glanced at Abhay who was holding her by her waist and smiling profusely at her
"What took u so long to reach here. Traffic bohot tha kya ya phir kisi ki vajah se busy thi" Panchi said glancing at Abhay who has a 100 volt smile pasted on his face
"Shut up girls let ur sister and brother in law come in first and stop teasing them" Mrs dobrial admonished
All of them sat together for the brunch continously teasing Abhiya "So jiju where are u planning to fly away with Pia for the honeymoon" Misha asked excitedly
"Jiju, yuck Misha this name doesn't suit me especially when it comes out of that pretty mouth of urs" Abhay says making a disgusted face
"Pretty ,her mouth is not pretty Abhay , she always utter out things without thinking" Panchi says mocking misha
"Well as for the opinion on her mouth, i think kabir would be the best one to decide it, right Kabir" Abhay says looking at Kabir smiling innocently to which Misha and Kabir turned all pink and purple and the rest of the gang laughed
"manana padega Abhay. Kaha hum sab tumhari taang kheechne ne ka plan bana rahe the aur kaha tumne Miss Misha Dobrial ki bolti bandh kara di" Ruhi says praising Abhay and Pia smiled at Abhay who has held her hand tightly down the table. She was amused at the way Abhay is interacting with everyone. She has never ever in her wildest of dreams had dreamed that her Abhay will tease her sisters and will sit together with everyone like a family and will be enjoying himself. Each and every wish of her is getting fulfilled that too splendidly
Mrs Dobrial now jump into their conversation "Beta tum Pia ke saath kab nikal rahe ho apni trip ke liye"
"We r leaving by tonights flight mom"Abhay replied and Pia smiled at him as he addressed her mother as mom
"Abhay tumne bataya nahi ki tum dono kaha jaa rahe ho" Ruhi asked this time unable to control herself
"Well that's a surprise for Pia Ruhi. I won't spill the beans so easily" Abhay replied to which Pia eyed him suspiciously
"Ok don't tell Pia ,at least tell us. We won't give out ur secret to her" Misha said pouting
"Tell u all, right"Abhay said shaking his head "U are keeping a secret now that's a joke"
"Gosh u r so mean Abhay and here we thought that the time of old mean Abhay are gone" everyone laughed and continued eating
"Pia please ye dal pass karna" Mr. Arnav Dobrial asked Pia as he open his mouth for the first time. He is still not fond of Abhay as he think that because of Abhay Pia has to face a lot in her life
But Abhay was in no mood to leave Pia's hand. Pia was struggling to get it out of his strong grip and glaring at him angrily but all in vain. He was just smiling and enjoying it.
"Kya hua Pia pass the bowl beta" Arnav Dobrial repeated suspiciously
Pia finally raised her hand which was entwined with Abhay's above the table and showed it to everyone due to which Abhay jerked off his hand immediately. Everyone laughed at their cuteness even Arnav Dobrial could not stop himself from smiling and feeling happy at his daughter's happiness.

The rest of the day passed with the Raichand and Rathore family coming by to personally meet the new couple. Pia also got to spend time with her new mother in law. In between Pia and Abhay spent time organizing and packing for their flight to their honeymoon destination . The only interruptions were the constant ones, from Abhay who would never lose a chance to pull her away to steal a kiss or more. After the last stolen kiss Pia kicked Abhay out of her room locking it behind her. She leaned against the door and smiled happily. She had everything she ever wanted and more.
