Ayush's cheerful voice breaks into Abhay's fantasies of Pia which were turning quite wild. Still chuckling a little at the response of Pia to his kiss he went over the cupboard & took out a blue towel to hand over to his son, vaguely getting irritated at the fact that everything in this room is draped in blue. Ayush' bed sheets to his pillow covers blankets and all.

Abhay ( rolling his eyes ) ' Looks like Pia took the Boys are blue and Girls are pink quite seriously.

In the bathroom he went where his own miniature version was sitting in the tub and his own blue eyes staring at him with lots of love & a hint of mischievous spark in those eyes.

Abhay ( going near & sitting on the ledge of the tub )- So you take a bath daily before going to bed?

Ayush ( nodding his head & smiling )- ummuh'I sometime play football in the back yard with Tris & then go for a swim & then Tris read me a story after which I go to sleep.

Abhay's felt his heart gave a sad lurch hearing this realizing just how much time he missed with his son. Not knowing him or having him close to him. But he is going to make up for all those. Starting with bathing him he thought and smiled to himself. He picked up the soap and started scrubbing his son's smooth yet tough arms & shoulders gently while Ayush kept staring at him.

Ayush ( out of the blue ) ' Mom missed you a lot. And so did I. Why did you go away? Did mom hurt you? Did you too fight? I'll help you making it up with her.

Ayush's sudden confession and questions threw Abhay off balance. He looked up to see his son's blue eyes so like him welled up in tears while his own heart felt like breaking in billion pieces witnessing them. Still in the tub Ayush stood up & outstretched little soapy hands to cup his father's face in both his hands.

Ayush ( voice cracking up with emotions )- You are not going to leave us now are you? And if mom wants to go away than you will stop her won't you? I want us all to live together just like those human kids in my school does. I want you to meet my friends too & play with me & Tris. You know he sometimes cheats to win a match. I love you dad please don't go stay with me & mom. Please.

Abhay pulled him in a bone crushing hug without caring that he drenched his clothes with water. He started kissing Ayush's forehead, cheeks again again promised him ' I'll never leave you Ayush and your mom ( pulling him away to look into his eyes ) I know how to say sorry. She will come around I promise you.

Ayush smiled his heart breaking smile to his father and kissed him on both cheeks making Abhay grin from ear to ear like an Idiot.

Ayush- So you forgive me too.

Abhay ( confused ) ' For what?

Ayush ' For the other day, you know when I threw you in that whirlpool of water. I did not knew you were dad na.

Abhay now remembering how his own son had almost shown him the way to heaven smiled at him, though he is definitely apprehensive of his son's unknown power & their effects on him but put the matter aside making a mental note of having a chat with Isis & Tristan about it later said- You are always forgiven & I love you too.

Ayush smiled & indicated his father to look in the water in the tub. Abhay did as was told & was marveled at what he saw.

The water in the tub started rising like a long ribbon in front of him & then started twisting itself in mid air. Abhay looked at Ayush who was concentrating hard on the aqua ribbon in mid air. Looking back Abhay saw the ribbon had twisted them in letters in mid air saying,

"I am sorry Dad." And then again they twisted themselves to form other words this time- "I love you, Dad"

If Abhay could have done he would have shouted to everyone in the whole world at that moment that he is the luckiest person in the whole world but words failed him. He simply scooped Ayush in his lap noticing with his super senses that his son has grown an inch longer than yesterday.

Abhay- I love you too.

Ayush now a naughty smile on his lips ' And did you said forgiven always?

Abhay not suspecting anything nodded his head only to have all the words made of water in mid air to come crashing down onto him making him completely drenched.

Ayush laughed while Abhay pretending to get angry with him shouted- You wait you little monkey. He took the hand shower and sprayed Ayush with water.

Both father & son enjoying themselves while in the other room, Pia who could clearly hear their laughter smiled to herself & hoped all this is not a dream.

Erwin's House, In the study:

A man of about in his fifties was smiling in grim satisfaction at the information he derived from her sure of a hefty reward.

Erwin looked at him apparently very pleased- So you are sure this is all true.

Man- Yes mam. I am 100% sure I myself am analyzing the blood samples and as a scientist I can assure you in my 15 years of career I have never come across such a species. Looking at the blood sample & analyzing it I am bound to believe it's magical despite the fact that I don't believe in such things as magic. Its beyond normal, natural & like a magic in itself.

Erwin resisting the urge to burn the man in front of him for his disrespect towards magic spoke- Dr. Brown you know that my man lost his life while getting the sample and its just for my respect for science & your works that I approached you to study them. I hope you will not let anyone else come to know about it & keep me update with the latest developments as soon as you can.

Dr. Brown- Yes Mam. But as I have already told you that I have just yet scratched the surface I need few more days to study further. I'll make sure to gather as much about the creature as I can& inform you at the earliest.

Bidding his adieu to her he left her.

Erwin smiling to herself though a fury was rising in her eyes- Very soon I'll know exactly what I have to deal with and then I'll dry even the last drop of that filthy blood from the spawn of the undead. Disgusting Halfling.

With a swift movement of her hand she blew away every candle in the room engulfing herself in a darkness where her eyes glowed a bloody red.
