Well Abhay is a vampire and Deepu aunty was the 1st one to attack his parents. So he did what he had to do. This is a supernatural world, where bloodshed is common thing.

If Jeh have been in his position he would have done the same thing.

PS. If you have seen VD all seasons, you should know in the latest season they are going to turn Stephan Salvatore into a ripper.
