I agree with Chakku. Dipu's killing by Abhay was really unsettling.
I think we all had this Good Samaritan image of Abhay, who until pushed to the limit, never reacted or retaliated.
But today we saw a different Abhay. We did not feel so bad when he finished that werewolf and even Siddharth. So, why was his slaying of his arch enemy so disturbing to us today?
Dipu had it coming, I agree. It is her overconfidence that got her goose cooked.
But why are we feeling disturbed at the sight of Abhay killing Dipu? Would we have felt the same if it had been a male werewolf? Are we aghast because Abhay didn't flinch when driving that wooden stake into her heart? The heart of a woman old enough to be is mother?
Mind you, Dipu was just as strong, maybe even stronger than Haseena and Chand tonight. She was by no means weak. She has on several occasions tried to harm the Raichands.
But it is deeply ingrained in our consciousness, that a good man would never strike a woman.
I think it scared us to see the brute force with which Abhay (man) attacked Dipu (woman). And the way he finished her with the second stroke.
I am surprised that Piya did not vomit. She must have a really strong gut to witness the killing and just close her eyes.
