PIY'S PLACE

Piya was combing her curls humming round the room . She was roaming round the room and balcony. She suddenly stopped before her family photo on the wall and touched it with a smile on her face. Then her face dropped with pain, tear was there in her eyes.

Piya- how come u all left me alone in this world mom dad! Don't u ever thought what will happen to me without u all. Mom how could u part me from u , i was part of ur soul though u havn't gave birth still u never made me feel like that. I never ever have a though of my birth mom but u. We were perfect family! Then: why? Why mom... (She broke into tears... drop on her knee hiding her face cried her heart out)

Abhay was there behind the balcony curtain heard everything; he could feel the emptiness and the pain in her. Piya was still on her knee , curls over her hidden face . Abhay gently came near her out of his hidden place. Came close to Piya slowly and bend on his knee facing her. He gently hold her by her shoulder and make her face up by her chin and lean her to his side. Piya was stunned having Abhay on her face. She was numbed by his cold touch on her warm body. Abhay hold her tightly and make her stand.

Abhay- Piya please stop crying, everything is alright now. We all are here for you. Don't u ever are thing urself alone here.

Piya- (lost in Abhay's eye. Tears still coming out and rolling down her chicks, she try to say something else but) Mr. Raichand !(with a low voice)

Abhay- Don't call me that. U can call me Abhay. Only Abhay.

Piya- yah! But, how come u r here?

Abhay-nothing like that(with a smile) u were crying so loud that i could heard it from home itself.

Piya- am I that loud?(in a low and embarrassed voice, wiping her face with her palm)

Abhay- no Piya! I was here to take class note for Misha. She told me to collect from u.

Piya- yah sure. i got it Xeroxed for her . Just wait a minute. (piya left for her study room while Abhay stared at the photo o the wall. )

Abhay recognise all the persons on the wall they are Jaiswal, their royal guardians. They sacrificed their life protecting Abhay's life while Haseena and Abhay were under attack. Not only that, Piya's great grandfather was also killed protecting Sam from victor for the first time.

Piya came in with the notes and hand it over to Abhay with a smile. Piya bid him good night and Abhay do the same. Piya accompanied him to the front door and bid him bye. As Abhay about to left Piya's place , jay came in the scene .

Jay- hey Piya!

Piya- jay! What are u doing here , i think its too late for u . aunty gonna kill u .

Jay- no way! I am her for her only.

Piya- what! For her.

Jay- yah! For her only son's future.

Piya- (crossing her hands) oh i see. Its really a serious matter, isn't it?

Jay- btw , may i know what r u doing outside with a stranger late night.

Abhay smirks at his question to Piya and Piya gave jay a narrow eye for his question.

Piya- oh i am so sorry for that big bro. This stranger is Mr. Abhay Raichand and brother to Misha. And Mr. Abhay , i mean Abhay here the world's best so called famous bro Jay . Jay khuranna.

Abhay- nice to meet u jay.

Jay- same here Mr. Abhay Raichand. I heard a lot about u. If u can remember , Mr. Armaan khurana, u helped in research, my father.

Abhay-( with a bright expression) oh i see. U somehow look like him. He was a great person. So u r in Mount college. Which branch?

Jay- Bio.

Abhay- very good . so i hope u turned to be a scientist too.

Jay- i am not that intelligent like dad.

Abhay- ok then, i got to go . it's too late . though Misha fell asleep but i have to do my duty.

Piya and jay wished him good night and went inside.

Jay- i have a surprise for u dear.

Piya- what is it(with curiosity). Aunty have send something for me . right!

Jay- why it's always aunty can't i ever bring something for u?

Piya- oh! So it's Mr. Jay special.

Jay- yep. I made this choco cake for u.

Piya-( with a broad smile take the cake and bring a piece for both) here the party begins.

Jay- ok! I am also carving for this the time i have started planning for this cake.

Piya – and aunty must have forbid u for that i guess.

Jay- yah! Of course. You know what a big foodie i am.

Piya- have u left something for aunty or not?

Jay- i made three of them. One for u , one for mom, and a hidden one for my group at college.

Piya- so i am gonna have a long cake party for next few days.

Jay- no way! U have ur share . don't cast evil eye on my shares.

Piya- copy and forwarded .

Jay- why?

Piya- What are u doing with my share( raising one eyebrow).

Then they had a cake –fight there bursting in to hearty laugh . they finish everything then piya called jay's mom to come over her place. Three of them have a good chat there. Jay left for home while Mrs. Khuranna stay with Piya.

On his way to home jay heard some rumbling sound behind the nearby bush. He was bit scared but he manage himself thinking of a rabbit / a cat over there. He passed by that place and a pair of big horrifying eye watch over him. He enter his house and close all the doors and windows properly. He was about to fall on his bed, and a howling sound of wolves echoed all over his place. Those sounds followed by several others. He could heard them so loud as if all those wolves are inside his compound. Those sounds were heard all over the city.

Samar pratap's place

Sam was sitting near the fire place reading a book of anthropology for the sessions next day in college. He heard the howling sounds of the wolves. He had observed all the behaviours of wolves very well. He sensed that this howling was not a good sign as it's a sign of calling the other members for hunting. But that sign was not a hunt for food but something different.
