yeah but we are forgetting that in indian society ..even now..financial security is the main cause for a marriage...even in elite societies...the stark presence of the 18th century of marriage being nothing but a dependency of a woman's life financially and socially has surely toned down in today's century...but it is still present there sadly...you remember what the dobriyaal parents said when they made panchi engaged with neel ?? - "unka itna bara business..itna bara status hain..humari beti raaj karegi aur sabko khushiyaan degi.."..the worry of your daughter not being safely married to a financially secured husband still exists till date and i feel that is a main reason for him to pair up with piya and jay..as he has seen there is a little attraction from ay's side between their conversations...so yeah...😊

Even if financial status is important all parents try to know abt family backgrounds before fixing a marriage😉
