@austenrox. I think the reason Abhay's suffering seems hurtful and unbearable inspite of seeing it so many times is because human-beings connect to pain and grief. Many fans don't realize this but they have a mother complex towards him. Abahy evokes maternal feelings of protection. You just want to go out there and hug him so that his pain goes away.

Yesterday while watching abhiya after ages I was feeling this strange heartache, I mean it was such a beautiful yet angsty scene...and now today after reading your post I realized it was the pathos that had got to me...sigh, sure they are so epic coz they are soulmates, each and every scene of abhiya connects at some level...and scenes like these they just go deep in your heart and embed themselves there, that's the beauty of their love...have nothing more to add, it was a beautiful scene, made infinitely more beautiful by your amazing write-up on it😃
