Yes, somewhat it's true. But, the storyline is way different! By the end of Vampire Diaries' Season 2 , Elena falls in love with both Stefan and Damon. But, Abhay and Pia love each other and no one came between them yet. Katherine is pure evil, but Maithili is not so ; she is compelled by Sid. Sid is not in love with Pia. Matt has been Elena's long time boyfriend but they broke up after 15 years (Vicki mentions). Pia never loved Kabir. Pia just went out with him because she didn't want to break his heart. Damon has displayed love and care but Sid lacks them all. The characters cannot be matched even if they do seem like the same plot but they are not.

well actually i just read the vampire dairies and while i was reading i felt like i was reading pkyek story in some part, i am not comparing the character according to their role or how evil or good they are like before for dmg i did same dmg and twilight arman,ridhima and sid
