I still love Piya Dobriyal -- the transition!!!

All are blaming Piya for her sudden change..Questioning how a person's personality can change if her memory

is gone...

My take on this:

1) Pia was never naive and timid when she entered Dehradun..She was infact brave enough to Slap 'Misha' back When misha slapped her for T's bet on the very first day of her college!

A girl who is brought up in orphanage will always be brave and confident because they manage themselves no matter what...

2)Piya (before - memory lose) became more a victim of self-sympathy once she reached dehradun.As she entered the college she faced modern girls like T, misha with loads of money. Even if she's hesitant to mingle with them because of her status and money, misha assured her and spent for Piya in all occasions( starting from the mountain climbing thing)

And she reached the heights of saddness and self-sympathy when she found that arnav is her dad who avoided her and when abhay constantly

played with her emotions...

Just before the memory lose, she became aware of abhay's and arnav's love for her...so she remained in that down-to-earth mode

3) Piya (after memory lose): Her mind set is that of a girl who left the orphanage due to her merit..Eventhough her memory is lost, she came to know that she is arnav's daughter...

Before she reacts much to it..she's sent to Paris...where she is super-successful (again because of her own self)..This is the new Piya..She is so confident about herself..and she's not used to T's insults...So she reacted in her new way...

Psychologically,more insults will always make a person become shy and less self-defending...And piya faced all the insults in the memory erased period only...

But the Piya who is so successful and who is not aware of the hard things she came across - is bound to react that way...

If you see, the second generation-crorepati's are always much-confident than their fathers..Its not only about money...its about success!

So Piya Jaiswal and Piya Dobriyal have the same Heart but different Thoughts!!

P.S: But even i am not convinced about the 'Bet' Thing... I wonder May be because she lived in Paris for a year(where cheek-kissing is as common as a handshake) and the fact that she's not committed to anyone made her do So!!

i kind of agree with u...

infact i replied in a similar way in poca's topic...

this is my pov:

this 1 year of her life was very imp to her...she faced so many rejections from family, friends, etc and she learned how to live independently being an orphan in college...becoz prior to that she was living in a missionary school so she was never alone and independent and exposed to outside world...

so that is why, this 1 year of life has made her more subdue to life by knowing all the morals...

since this so called 1 year got erased from her memory, she doesnt even know how she earned a place at Dobrial's house...how much she struggled in her life...all she saw is overnight she has a nice family who kept her like a princess and she suddenly went to paris, became modern and learnt to be like an arrogant proud teenage model who will not take any trash/crap from bitchy T...

so definitely, i see the change in her as a valid change since the important year of her life is missing...

i know many people will miss the old piya jaiswal but im sure this change wouldn't last longer...creatives will bring back the old lovable girl once she meets abhay in her new life...that is the idea of cv's to show us right now the changed girl...

ps: about the kiss, even im shocked and couldnt digest it...

in hollywood "a kiss" is d most common bet for girls..

You know. Putting much thaught on ppls oppinions here is not really a wise thing.

Whe Piya was simple and didnt care abt T's crap, they were like, why cant she be more stylish? why isnt she giving back on T's words?

Now when that aspect is changed all of a sudden all the nagging on the simplicity is gone, and hey, we want it back!

Its funny, instead of beeing happy that T for once got words she desreved, they are almost sympathising with T whom created so much problems.

And then when have'who does she thinks she is, miss world?' . I mean seriously?If they dont wanna accept that she is a model now(neaither we like it or not) they better keep their mockering comments to themselfes, some went so low that they made fun of her dancing even😕.

Bascially, whatever changes, faults etc takes over the show the heroine seems to be the one to pay for it for some werid reason.

Even earlier, the times some ppl claim they loved her now but even then critisized her actions she was the one to be blamed in Abhiya complications. Even now,when Abhay actually 'erased' her mind, they r like what how can she forget him?😲🤪.

Seems the few active ppl here are here only for mockery of main leads, even Abhay at times, but well, as we are averagly more possesive abt the hero, the heroine takes the crap more often.

Piya, like her eaither way. How she was before made her really special, how she simply didnt care abt T's words, not cause she was weak but she didnt need to give back at her words meant nothing anyways, her weak and strong Points were all liked be me.

Now she isnt that changed, a change of attiude and surface is natural conserning the memory loss and change of living athmosphere in Paris. I seriously dont get the hyper.Are ppl looking for oppurtunity of critisizing the leads? Cause same ppl who are claiming they miss the simplicity even critised it back then and never appriciated what they feelt was postive.

But at the end of it, thnx to Abhay for once again deciding 'for' her than 'with her, she didnt even have the right to choose this change. Now when he comes back, I dont think he can go with all the 'stay away from me' again for sure. If she gets the 'despo' and detective tag for searching answers I freakin dont care, she is rocking as she is. Having Abhay back makes AbhayPiya complete, even Abhay is incomplete without Piya. but saying that only Abhay can gives us are Piya back and she is only what we like with him is a but unfair to her honestly.

Everyone is changed. Panchi is going around breaking hearts and using boys, Misha is not really Misha anymore, Kabir is a silent Lamb, T just got more dark and evil, but hey all that aside lets bang on Piya🤔. Guess beeing a heroine is more like a sin😆.

I personally had no issues and were enjoying the ups and downs and touchable changes to some level, but i opened this forum and was litterarly like this for a while😕😕😕😕😆. I knoe Piya will lean back to her original spirit with some pieces of her change right now, wich i am looking forward to. but seriously ppl, give it a rest! i dont think there is a single spot they havnt nagged on her for ever since she arrived at that airport😕😆

PS. I like Jay and Piyas interactions. hoping for a friendship, but i guess he will turn plain evil.
