Here's my first poem, Memories, based on Piya and her memory loss. 😳😆
It's on how her heart and soul must be feeling about knowing she has forgotten something very important, her life's most defining moment in fact-falling in love with Abhay. ☺️
I've come back to home
After what seems like centuries long
And yet there's something that tells me
I haven't reached home at all
I've come back to my home
To meet everyone who once knew me
And yet there's something that tells me
To listen to Destiny's call
And when I listen
I hear the wind blowing in my ears
I hear the sounds of the leaves crunched beneath my feet
And they tell me that if fate wants
Then perhaps we two can meet
But I don't believe
I don't think memories can ever go away
And even if I've lost mine
Then my love will come back to give them to me some day
But I don't believe
I think memories have nothing to do with luck or to do with life
Whether it's death
Or your first breath
Your memories will keep you alive...
