Gautam Gulati was introduced as a powerful industrialist, Shaurya, in Star One and Balaji Telefilms' Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. But the character unexpectedly turned out to be a gay as the story moved ahead.
The latest we hear is that Gautam has decided to quit the show.
A source says, "Yes, the character Shaurya will exit from the show. As of now Shaurya is in love with Shankar (Yash Gera), who is inturn in love with Misha (Priya Wal). The character will exit on a good note where Shaurya and Misha decide to be friends forever and the role will be left open ended."
We contacted Gautam Gulati and he confirmed saying, "Yes, I am quitting Pyaar Kii Ye Ye Ek Kahani where I have already given my papers to the production house and it is a mutual decision."
With Shaurya making an exit will a new love story develop between Shankar and Misha?
