exactly me too thinks the same...i always used to wonder the same thing ever since they showed in one of the flashbacks and abhay too told that maithiili never loved sid...then i used to think why should sid be angry in that case...
cv's didnt want to copy exactly the same from TVD...so they didnt want to make maithili two-time the brothers...in this process they are making an illogical sense...sid's vengeance is not justified unless sid is a pshycho or sadistic person...as there is no reason for him to be angry or take revenge if she was not two-timing them...
thats why i think cv's iss chakkar mein kuch illogical khichidi banayenge...
i hope they reveal the back story soon and give us a good/strong reason for his revenge...
they are dragging this thing by not revealing becoz looks like they too dont have a strong script for it...they just let us know that maithili was not two-timing...may be they too are confused as to how to justify sid's anger...
i think it will take ages for them to reveal this...
