UPDATE 6

"Half the truth of the Maithili story was hidden by Chand from me," Abhay started.

"He's your dad, atleast call him dad." told Piya.

"Maithili's father, King of Uttar-Swarg, an empire of five districts: Pandher, Dehra, Doon, Swarg and Uttaranchal, had a son half-human, half-vampire.This was unnatural and one of its kind case. So, seven vampires were given the task to keep an eye on him and kill those who tried to harm him or kill him if he came out as a danger to vampires of the world, by the 'Sinceres'." Abhay switched on the CHS and continued, "obviously the King didn't like this one of his sons."

"Who are the Sinceres?" asked Piya interrupting.

"They are a group of the very first fifteen vampires of this world who keep control on all the vampires."

"Abhay, are there any other supernatural forces except the vampires? I always intended to ask but I don't know why I never really did ask till now."

"Yeah Piya there are. Other than vampires there are werewolves who are in the same numbers as the vampires. There are witches and wizards too but extremely rare, in fact two in a century. Any other supernatural forces other than these are unknown to me."

"Now Abhay, continue with the story."

"Okay… the sinceres had sent the seven vampires to protect him after he turned seventeen. They had to submit a report of him after ten years. For five years, everything remained well, till the king wanted to get rid of five of the seven who had shown themselves to him, two had remained in shadows just in case. So, the king went out alone in the deepest parts of the forest where a mythical vampire lived, sealed in a steel cart with a well bred fat horse so that he could talk to him. His plan worked and he launched a deal with the vampire to kill all five vampires and his son. The King liked his plan till the vampire saw Maithili and demanded her as a bride along with all the other gifts like piles of money and the hundred people the king was already giving him. The King himself drew out a triple fold plan to kill all the vampires, his son, the hunter he had appointed, Maithili and a very easy Abhayanand.

The hunter killed the son and the five vampires while the king shut Maithili off in the back room and shut fire to it and let Abhayanand run from the prison. Till then he knew enough that vampires could be killed only if they were kept in fire for a long time and as the hunter had really fallen for Maithili he would stay long enough in the fire to die. But he didn't know one thing that vampires do not burn till they are subjected to a temperature more than 1000 degrees. And if they get it they are blown of with an explosion.

So, after killing the five vampires, the hunter came to know about Maithili being burnt and he ran off to save her. But the remaining two vampires also got a tip of the king's plan and they too hurried to save as many as they could. What I saw was that when I reached the room, the vampire had clutched Maithili to carry her off but as I entered, a 1000 degrees blaze hit him and he was blown off in the explosion and hit Maithili who instantly died of the collision with the wall which blasted and they both were thrown out. While the hot air from the explosion blew me off half charred.

But one of the two vampires caught me as I was falling to death unconscious. The huter was somehow alive and already recovering, obviously being a vampire he healed fast. The two vampires made their own deal with him that they would not report of him making a deal with a human to the Sinceres if he left the kingdom unscathed. They also promised to pay him some money every fifty years for his life. The vampire left bearing a grudge against Maithili because of whom he was almost killed. The other two vampires killed the king who knew their darkest secrets and turned me into a vampire. They are whom you know as Chand and Haseena Raichand."

"So, why didn't you tell me all this before?"Piya asked.

"I didn't know all this myself. I was completely shocked when Chand told me all this. In fact it seems even more weird when I think about it. But it'd as real as anything else. Till now they were able to hide him by paying him money secretly from me but this time he comes to Dehradun, he can pick up your scent, even in the jungles. He is a good tracker plus you have traveled this whole city and its forests with me now."

"Why does this matter??? Obviously my scent would not be like Maithili's and I can cover it with huge amounts of strong perfumes."

"No Piya, it won't do any good. He's a very good tracker. He can smell even the faintest scent left behind from days and he has a special ability of being able to see the face of anyone whose scent he gets. Dad can delay his arrival for a few days so that your scent lingers off the forests, but if you stay in this city, there's a great deal chance of him finding you. So you will have to leave this city Piya, for some years. He likes to stay for years when he comes here."
