he is def right as whatever he does is always for a good reason...but i wouldn't say he had no other option...so my answer is a mix of 2 options

he was right. if he ahd just taken away Piya from there then Sid could have tried to bite her again on another fullmoon night

He is fully right in his doing. He had no other option left. Because if he took away Piya then how long will he be able to save her from Sid even if told Sid's truth. Thats the only way left...bite her.
