TOI-Vivian:taking a risk

While playing a vampire in Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani, Vivian Dsena is treading on a new path since such characters are rare on Indian TV .

The shedding of copious tears by the leading ladies leaves a very little space for action sequence for our male brigade. But lucky Vivian got the opportunity to indulge in some action, as his show allows him to perform stunts. And we are informed that making full use of this rare chance, he chooses to do all his stunts himself instead of a dupe. He says, "I want Abhay's character to look genuine and authentic. My director and I decided that it would be in favour of the show if I perform all the stunts on my own. It also gives our team more liberty for close ups and various shots which are not possible with a body double!" But the stunts are quite dangerous, requiring the lad to jump from heights. So isn't he scared? "Oh! I am definitely nervous as I have never attempted something like this in the past. For example, as a vampire at times I am jumping off trees and that too with speed and confidence which surely is a difficult task for me but I am trying my best!" Given his increasing female fan base, we think his hard work is paying off.
