I like the spunky Piya who slapped Misha back when she slapped her. I like the Piya who (for some reason known only to her😊!) took a cake to Abhay's house on her birthday. I like the Piya who was brave enough to stand up for Abhay even though it meant her reputation was at stake in the whole Maya imbroglio.
Now, where has that Piya gone and who is this clone? She has been crying in every episode for the last week or so. And if she smiles, sadu makes her cry. So, I want to say, Piya baby, stand up for yourself...don't keep falling into Abhay's arms because they are conveniently there. (well..you can still fall into his arms...just don't cry while doing it😉😉!) You never needed anyone to fight your battles before. Why do you need someone now? Its nice that Abhay is supportive and wants to be there for you, but where is your fighting spirit? I want the spunk back. Ye pyaar ke chakkar mein, don't become a dukhiyari "Nirupa Roy" type aatma....puhlleeeeezzee! 😆😆😆
Your thoughts? Anyone else feel Piya needs a little more spine lately? 😊

Ummm.......to me it just seems like she is on the verge of a breakdown. All these years she was strong and independent, but then, she was in the convent. She had accepted her fate and was living life the best way she could. Now suddenly she is in a different city, away from the protective walls of her 'home', confronted with her dad and his family. Everyday she spends time with Misha, her best friend, her sister. Through her she sees her dad with his other family, a reminder of the pain he gave her and her mother by abandoning them. And then there is her first love, who happens to be a vampire! In such a situation, anyone can break, especially when someone tells them that they can depend on them, and offers solace and comfort. If the CVs keep it real, I am sure that Pia's fighting spirit will surface again. She just needs time to cry, and to heal right now. There's just too much bottled up inside her, and all the events and Abhay's offer of support are just giving her a way to let it all out.:)

So, I like the way you've put it. It sounds reasonable. I'm fine with Piya relying on Abhay for support, both moral and otherwise. I'm sure she'll be back with a bang real soon. Its just..I'd hate for her to become completely reliant on Abhay. I hope he empowers her, not just enables her..if you catch my drift.😊

Definitely agree with you. I loved how Piya was this fiery independent girl who did not need someone to protect her and lived her life on her own terms. Honestly, it is now weird that just because she has Abhay to fall on she has stopped trying to find solutions to her problems and rather depends on him. No offence, it is really cute how he is always there for her but still I believe it would be better if we could see a balance between both lol
