Abhay: Being good can be dangerous but not bad'
Please don't misunderstand my intentions. I already know most of you either love Abhay or at least like him so, no complaints on this. He is named Prince Charming (or Prince Angel Super Charming) here. The only thing that seems to upset many of you is Abhay behaviour over Saturday's episode whether it was being rude to Chandeena or or to latkayofying Pia.
So, I thought I may give another angle for your thoughts so that atleast we can also see the possiblity that Abhay's reactions to either Chandeena or Pia were not impulsive but well-thought of. Makes sense? No? Let's go further then.
Chandeena first.
They share a 200 years of comradeship or staying together. Should we expect emotions? No, we are repeatedly told not to expect emotions. Should we expect understandings. Yes, atleast a bit in 200 years. That's only fair. I am not able to understand that why they couldn't see in 200 years that the beast they are looking for in Abhay, doesn't exist. It is only a lover there. And the lover in him could be understood and handled better but not controlled like they always try to do.
I guess, Pia has understood this fact in a very short span. That's why this teenager is closer to Abhay in 4 months which Chandeena couldn't in 200 years.
Is it wrong if Abhay chooses Pia's safety over his clan's safety then? Not just becuase she resembles Maithili but because she has proved to be worthy of a very good friendship. Shouldn't this fact be very visible to Chandeena after all those 200 years? Is it wrong to choose your friends safety? He always told them that he wants to save Pia's life but they never stood for him as a support in dangerous times. (I liked in Twilight how they all stood as a family when Volturi came, even Rosalie) If Chandeena are worried about their safety first over helping Abhay in trouble then it makes sense that Abhay broke the relation.
Now for Abhay's reactions for Pia:
It is very easy for Snow-white to fall in love with Prince Charming, her savior, her knight in shining armour. But it took the Beast to be on deathbed for the Beauty to accept his love. Pia still doesn't know the beastly side of Abhay and we don't know how she will accept it. Well, most of us have faith in her that she will but how, we don't know. Anyways, till then is it fair for Abhay to say his feelings out-loud? No, Abhay can't do that. Even after Pia knows about his beastly side, Abhay will fear Pia's safety before confirming his love out-loud. So, I am actually not angry with him for telling a lie to her, again. She will have to go through the litmus-test of acccepting his beastly side first. As Poco says, she has long way to go before he accepts her.
(By the way I am wishing this as a Valentine gift from BT😆)
On lighter side, Abhay ki koi nahi sunta. He repeteadly tells Pia to stay away from him and not to interfere in his personal life but she doesn't. He tells Chandena that he can't leave Pia unsafe but they don't care.
