I think abhay is converted to vampire by chand and haseena becoz in the flashback abhay loved maithali,and confessed his love too

I do not think so he was converted by his parents. I think something tragic happened in the jungle, while he was waiting for Matz that turned him into a vampire. I think Chand and Haseena were human also and they are the victim of the same situation.
