I don't think Danish should come as a real surprise as the father of Maya's child. Why? Well even when he entered the show he was seen flirting with some other girl until Panchi grabbed him. He is always giving advice to Kabir, which may seem funny in the scene, but read more closely it is a bit playerish...which encourages playing with emotions (act more dramatic in front of Pia type deal.) Also there was constant problems with Panchi and Danish, as he was sick of her dad trying to give him job offers, so maybe he didn't actually think he would end up with Panchi and went with some other girl, like Maya.
Just a thought....
