That was amazing Poco. So many in one shot. So many mysteries. It be nice if they do have a girl that understands Abhay.

All hell had broken loose at Raichand mansion. Chaand is sitting quietly while Haseena is making mincemeat out of the principal, Maya and Danish.

Haseena ( fuming )- Piya sent Abhay to jail and you all! What were you all doing? Playing hide and seek?

Principal ( flustered )- Mrs.Raichand, what could I possibly do? Piya went ahead and filed a complaint. Maya kept standing there like a stupid cow and Abhay' I don't know what is wrong with him. He did not say a single word to defend himself.Instead , he happily told that inspector to take him away.

Haseena ( stunned )- What?

Chaand ( interrupting )- Thank you, Sir. You may leave now. We will get Abhay out of that place ' in less than 24 hours.

Principal ( fearing that he had offended them)- Sir, believe me'

Chaand ( shows him the door)- GO.

The man , shakes his head and glaring at Maya , he goes out of the door. Chaand and Haseena turn towards Maya and Danish. Chaand walks upto Danish who looks rather ashamed.

Chaand ( smoking his pipe )- Danish, didn't I do enough for you?

Danish ( guiltily )- You did more than I deserved , Sir.

Chaand ( sharply )- An annual package of 1.5 crores, a high-flying job , a house in one of the most posh colonies. You named it and I gave it to you. And this is how you paid me back?

Haseena ( furiously )- By impregnating someone from our clan and letting our son take the blame?....( turns to Maya)' and you! What did you think that I would never find out who the father is? Stop sobbing or I will just snap your neck off , I swear! Danish didn't know that you were supernatural at the time of this mess happening but you did! Now, why are you crying? Abhay took you under his wing to protect you and this is how you paid him back?

Maya ( stops crying )- I couldn't let the whole college know that I was pregnant and' if Piya would have found out , she would have exposed Danish and '.

Chaand ' And Danish loves Pancchi'. And her father's money.

Danish ( agitated )- Mr.Raichand, trust me. Keeping this pregnancy was Maya's choice and' we just had a good time'. I want to be with Pancchi. I am sorry that I manhandled Maya but she was after my life. I am sorrier for what is happening with Abhay.

Haseena ( throws up her hands)- Cut the crap, both of you. Maya, if Danish doesn't want you, he doesn't want you. Stop being a pile-on. You tell us what you want to do with the baby and we will deal with it' as of now, get going and take your complaint back. I want my son back home in an hour. Do you understand me?

Maya ( twitching her fingers)- But Piya'.

Chaand ' Don't worry about that wannabe social activist , Maya. Once Abhay is out , he will handle her.

Danish ( apologetically to the Raichands)-This mistake won't be repeated, Sir. I will protect and keep an eye on Abhay from now on so that he doesn't go and do something utterly stupid.

Haseena ( grabbing Danish's arm)- That apart , you will not raise your hand on Maya ever again'.you know what we can do, don't you?

Danish( nods )- I give you my word and I do hope she will stop bothering me.

Maya has no option but to nod.

Chaand ' Come on now. We have to get Abhay out of there.

Piya is sitting in the staircase of the college and she looks very pensive. She is twitching the end of her shawl in her hands and looking down at the steps. She is thinking of all that has happened and Abhay's last image is not leaving her mind when he left , giving her a dark smile.

Piya ( holds her head )- Now, why the hell am I feeling bad about sending that moron to jail? Did he feel bad about impregnating , abandoning and hitting Maya? No. Then, why should I be guilty for sending him to his rightful place?

Just then, she hears her own voice ring in from behind her.

Voice ' Exactly. Why should you be feeling bad?

Piya turns around and sees her own twin image smiling at her.Piya is taken aback and blinks her eyes.

Piya ( shocked )- Who' who are you?

Twin Piya ( with a big smile )- I am you. I live inside you. Ever heard words like soul and conscience ?

Piya ( shaking her head )- Ughs! I don't need these split personality disorders right now! Go away.

Twin Piya( makes a mock sad face )- Why? You don't want to talk to me? Or are you too bothered and restless about sending your favorite man to jail?

Piya ( irritated )- My favorite man? Abhay? Are you crazy?

Twin Piya ( laughs )- Of course, I am crazy. Because you are being driven crazy by him.

Piya ( crossing her arms )- I am not.

Twin Piya ( looks at her)- Is that so? Then, why do you keep craning your neck to steal a look at him? Why do your eyes turn into bonechina saucers whenever he looks at you? Why do you start hyperventilating when you feel his breath on your skin?.....( makes dreamy eyes)'. Oh-so-romantic! Such a dreamy guy and you sent him to prison?

Piya ( not meeting her eyes )- It's nothing like that. Stop putting ideas into my head and get lost!

Twin Piya ( makes a face)- I don't need to give you any more ideas. He is not going to speak to you again, in any case. Sigh! I am so gonna miss him'Anyway , I am off now. You keep dreaming about Abhay'.oops' Kabir. I keep forgetting who is your boyfriend.

Piya ( screams )- GET LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Piya stops screaming and sees that nobody is around. She sits down again and looks rather sad. Abhay's face swims in front of her eyes'.

I am never going to speak to you again.

Abhay's words echo in her ears and Piya finds tears welling up in her eyes'.

Oh my God! Poor Pia! If you look at it, its not really her fault. Ok, she misunderstood, fine, but Abhay and Maya let her believe that! They didn't even bother to clear out. I think its really wrong of everyone to blame Pia!! Had Abhay really done something like this (as if), he would've deserved this. And Pia, despite having feelings for Abhay went ahead and sent him to jail because she felt that he had committed a crime! I felt like hugging Pia in the show yesterday, and today I feel like hugging the Pia in this OS. She really deserves and needs it! My sympathies are totally with her and even though she's wrong but she's definitely justified!

Abhay was sitting quietly in the cell.He had been kept alone and there was complete silence around him. He was just looking at the floor with a pensive expression on his face.

Abhay( to himself )- I hope this is the seal of fate , now. Piya will detest the very sight of me and stay in Kabir's arms. She is safe and I can live in peace with' ( his face falls )' with'

Abhay feels his heart and puts his hand in the inner pocket of his jacket. He pulls out the antique locket and presses it open. Inside, is the portrait of Maithli ' smiling at him and her eye sparkling that the artist had captured so well. A small pensive smile comes over his face as he runs his thumb over his face.

Abhay ( ridden with emotion )-With you' and you are always close to my heart. You always will be'

Just then, a voice booms in. Abhay's expression hardens. He doesn't need to look up to see who it is ' that deep masculine voice had been following him over a 100 years now. He snaps the locket shut and slips it back into the inner pocket. He looks up and tilts his head smugly with a grin on his face as he sees the visitor with blazing cognac eyes'

Abhay ( crossing his arms across his chest )- You surely can't live without me, Sambhav. Can you? I was wondering that how you didn't show up with your happy face on the news of me holidaying in Dehradun jail?

Sambhav , who is standing at the other side of the bars laughs and winks at him. The constables look at him strangely.

Sambhav ( winks his grey eyes at him)- Abhay, Abhay, Abhay! You are THE MAN dude. I cannot imagine anyone else throwing that kind of attitude when he is accused of domestic violence '..sigh! I love you so much.

Abhay ( glowering at him like a tiger )- Cut the crap. What wind blew you in? I am sure it is not just your obsession with my good looks.

Sambhav ( playing a rhythm with the iron bars)- No, no. I have a painting of you and' ( meanly )' and Maithli in my room for that. Haha'.i am here to tell you that I and my men are going after your Piya'oops, your Maithli wannabe to her birth roots in'.in' well, forget it. I am just trying to figure out how she is an exact replication of your soulmate' maybe she has some powers that we can use.

Abhay comes to the bars and puts his hands on Sambhav's.

Abhay ( looking into his eyes )- Keep Piya out of this, Sam. She is a regular human-being who just happens to look like Maithli. Leave her alone'.

Abhay presses his hands and Sambhav falls back with a squeal.

The constables come running.

Constable ( comes running )- What happened?

Sambhav ( hiding his hands )-N-Nothing' (glares at Abhay who just grins back at him).. nothing at all' i' I stepped on my own foot.

The constables look confused but nodding , go away. Sambhav looks at the back of his hands that have been burnt and bruised by Abhay.

Sambhav ( angrily )- Savage.

Abhay ( rolls his eyes )- Lesser than you.

Sambhav ( smiles )- Such passion for a woman you are supposed to hate?

Abhay ( gives him a side glare )- None of your business , Sam. Get lost. I have entertained you enough , already.

Just then, the constable comes back and opens the locker.

Sambhav ( dramatically )- Oh wow! I am so lucky for you, Abhay. I came and they are bailing you out.

Abhay ( taking off his jacket and rolling up his sleeves )- Get a life, Sam. Mom-Dad, Maya and Anushka are here. My picnic here is over.

Constable ( taken aback)- H-How did you know?

Abhay ( going away )- I have got X Ray eyes.

Sambhav laughs and pulling the baffled constable's cheeks, goes behind Abhay.

Outside'

Maya is taking her complaint back while Haseena is raging and ranting. Chaand and Anushka are sitting quietly.

Haseena ( furiously)- How could you keep my son here , inspector ? Do you even know whose son you arrested? Just because some stupid girls come and tell all crap to you, you go and arrest my son in front of the whole world?

Inspector ( apologetic )- I am sorry, madam. But what could I do? Piya Jaiswal was accusing Abhay right-left-center and Miss.Maya was standing quietly. But we didn't even touch your son. He was well-behaved and quiet all the time.

Haseena ( thumping her hand on the desk)- Well, Haseena Raichand is not at all well-behaved. You are getting a transfer before this day ends!

Just then, Abhay comes there.

Abhay ( calmly )- Mom?

Haseena looks at him and rushes to him. She looks very charged and disturbed emotionally.

Haseena ( touching his cheeks and shoulders )- Abhay! Are you alright, son? Did they hurt you?

Abhay ( calms her )- No, mom. They didn't. Nobody can touch your son.

Just then, Sambhav shows up from behind him. They all are taken aback to see him.

Chaand ( reacts )- Sambhav! What are you doing here?

Anushka ( putting her arm protectively around Abhay )- Some friendly visit this is.

Sambhav ( courteously )- I was CONCERNED about Abhay. He can't even hurt a fly and here he was in prison for beating up Maya' tut tut tut' this Piya is such a Nosey Parker'. See where she took Abhay. It reminds me of'

Haseena ( angrily )- SHUT UP , Sambhav. Get out of here.

Sambhav just grins and goes out whistling. Abhay shakes his head.

Maya ( guilty)- I am sorry, Abhay .

Abhay glares at her.

Abhay ( fumes )- Feel sorry for yourself, Maya. For being such a doormat. I kept your dignity but it's a pity that you couldn't keep yours '. Getting beaten by a human-being. SHAME!

Inpsector ' As in?

Abhay ( coldly )- Nothing, inspector . You are not getting transferred. Mom is just emotional.

The inspector nods and smiles in gratitude. Abhay gets out of the police station with rest of the family.

Piya is trying to get some sleep in her hostel room but to no avail. She is tossing and turning in her bed and looks very restless. She cannot get the image of Abhay being taken away by the cops out of her mind. Finally, she gets up and sits in her bed , running her hand through her curly hair.

Piya ( with a sunken face )- Why the hell can't I get some sleep? I got justice for Maya , got Abhay out of her life , I sent that beast to jail and am basically a heroine of social causes today. Piya, be happy!

Piya gets up and goes to her dressing table . She looks at her face and keeps her hands on her hips.

Piya ( scolding herself )- Piya! Be happy!

There and then , she sees Abhay's face come out from behind her and look at her image with a smug grin. He slips his arms around her waist and rests his chin on her shoulder. Piya freezes.

Piya ( losing her breath in shock )- Abhay?

Abhay ( teasingly )- How can you be happy, Piya when you yourself have put me in trouble? You didn't like the sight of me getting arrested .. ( whispers in her ear )' admit it.

Piya ( dazed by his image in the mirror )- H-How did you get in here, Abhay?

Abhay ( his face in her hair )- I have always been here'.

Piya ' Abhay'.

Just then , the room of the door bursts open and a ferocious Maya walks in and Piya spins around. There is no Abhay and she is completely shaken up by this hallucination of hers.

Piya ( still registering Maya's aggressive entry )- Maya' Abhay was'

Maya ( flying off the handle )- ENOUGH Piya!....Enough is enough. You have taken this too far already , understand? You sent Abhay to prison? Filed a complaint against him? And without my knowledge?

Piya is taken aback by Maya's fury and hurt.

Piya ( trying to find her voice )- Maya, you are my friend'..He was ill-treating you, torturing you physically and emotionally ' refused to take your baby's responsibility. It was my moral duty.

Maya looks angry enough to kill her on the spot.

Maya ( seethes )- Moral duty , my foot! Did I even once say it with my own mouth that Abhay is the father of the baby?... ( Piya loses balance at this)' did I even once say that Abhay physically assaulted me?

Piya has to hold the corners of the dressing table to stop herself from collapsing into a heap. What is Maya saying? Am I ' am I hearing all this' is this.. oh no! Why has suddenly everything stopped making sense?

Maya ( shaking Piya by her shoulders )- Answer me , Piya! With what right did you send Abhay to jail?

Piya ( numbed with shock )- What are you' you saying, Maya? Abhay is not the father? He didn't hurt you?

Maya lets go off Piya and holding her head bursts into tears'.

Maya ( sobbing )- NO! He is not the father of my baby . He never raised his hand to hurt me'. Oh you silly little girl! He has nothing to do with my agony.

Piya's face froze and one could only see tears roll down her wide eyes as she clenched her fists tight to stop herself from shivering'..Her head had begun to swim and she could see or hear nothing properly' she felt heat was generating from her ears an her face was hot'.

Piya ( in a voice that was barely there )- Then' then' why didn't you say anything ? Why did you allow me to accuse Abhay all the time?

Maya ( torn)- Because I had no choice! I could not and I still cannot take the father's name in front of you , Piya. Abhay was my old friend and he ' he was my shield. For friendship's sake , he did what he could do for me'.and I hid behind him like a coward'.and i'

Piya ( looking into empty space )- I what?

Maya ( looking away still sobbing )- I.. somewhere wanted Abhay to take me under his wing' take my baby's responsibility.

Piya ( shocked )- What?

Maya ( looks ashamed )- Yes'it makes me sound petty and selfish but I have to confess that i' during this whole period , I became attached to Abhay'his care , his protection and his sacrifices for my sake won my heart'

Piya ( anger rising )- You fell in love with Abhay?

Maya ( shuts her eyes )- Let's not talk about it, Piya. It is something that I want to forget and Abhay should never know'

Piya looks shattered and shuts her eyes , looking away from Maya.

Piya ( totally broken )- Maya'.right now, I have nothing to say to you. Nothing. You made me commit a crime'..( covers her mouth )'what have I done to Abhay. I abused him, accused him, humiliated him, rated him a beast , sent him to prison'. For you! 'I shudder at the thought of agony that I have caused him! And he said nothing! Why ! Why! Why!
