Abhay is neither Stefan nor Damon

Okay, we all have been going in circles trying to find the father vampire from whom Abhay has sprung. Is it Stefan or is it Damon? Personally, i love both the Salvatore brothers - one for his goodness and the other one for his dormant goodness and his need to be loved.

But when it comes to Abhay Raichand, in these three weeks , he has only gone on to be more and more complicated to be anything like Damon or Stefan. Fine , he has the dark halo of Damon , has intense killer looks like him and is dressed in black. But that's it. Abhay is not ruthless like Damon - he doesn't have the black humour vein like his and unlike Damon , he is not waiting for Katherine/Maithli YET and above all , Abhay claims to have never hurt a human-being and while Damon is an open book at this stage , Abhay hides in shadows.

And then , we have Stefan. Okay, Abhay is nothing like the sensible, restrained and ideal vampire . The only thing that connects Abhay to Stefan is perhaps his 'Saviour Complex' which is very prominent in Piya's case.

Abhay is basically a cocktail of all the hottie vampires and his grey character and the mystery element is what makes him intiguing.

But , if at all, Abhay is waiting for Maithli like Damon was for Katherine and drove Bonnie crazy for that , then, Abhay does go closer to Damon.

Spike was a naughtier , fiercer and more lovable form of Abhay. Spike's redemption and his healing was love and Buffy found the man behind the monster.

asking the same q here where does all this put Misha? Is she Alice of twilight or some char of tvd? oh god i cant comprehend whether the show is twilight based or tvd or a remixed version of allllll😆

Lolz. Well, the show has base threads of Twilight and Vampire Diaries but the tadka is desi. I , myself , am yet to pinpoint where Misha fits in from there. But am loving what they have done with Misha in these few episodes. We are seeing so many shades of her. Now, the man for her better come fast. Siddharth, right?

i noe..bt poco...he has d dark halo of damon..really it doesnt seem so..bcz despite damon being d bad guy in d begnining.(however sexy he mite be) i never found him to b a bad guy/...yeah he kills n snaps ppl fr fun...bt bcz dats damon..im willng to frgive that aspect as well😆

as fr d stefan..ya saviour complex is d only thing....bcz neiuther my salvatores have violet eyes...nor they hate elena.....

and ya neither r they the brooding creatures of d dark....like abhay..yeah stefan brrods sometimes..bt his personality is way better...

Totally agreed. See, i totally like and dig Abhay but his likeness to Stefan or Damon is very very limited.

Thanks poco for the post. I didn't watch vampire diaries but someone posted a promo and watching it I can say Abhay is a mixture of both the char and he is my perfect hero.
