The story begins with Piyashree or Piya (Sukirti Khandpal) an orphan who goes to Dehradun after getting a scholarship in Mount College. She makes friend with outgoing Misha and college casanova Kabir. Tanushree a.k.a T dislikes her instantly. While rappelling with her friends she falls down and is caught by a mysteriously handsome man.. The man leaves immediately after helping piya. Piya's friends are surprised to see her alive even though she insists that someone had helped her they don't believe her. Misha invites piya to a surprise birthday party thrown by her mother for Misha's father and introduces her to her sister's fiance, Danish (kabir's brother). T insults Piya and she leaves crying. She gets lost in the jungle and overhears a conversation between a man and a lady . They notice piya overhearing and the lady tells Piya to go away though the man catches hold of her and tells her to leave where she notices a tattoo on his back and realizes that she had seen him before. She leaves and kabir comes and drops her off to the hostel. The girls in her room are doing drugs. In the morning misha realizes this and tells piya to complain which she agrees to. Misha then takes her to do an audition for a drama where she sings beautifully even after T obstructs her. The police then come there and ask Pia to go with them after accusing her of selling drugs. Piya is sent to jail. Misha asks help from her father Arnav to save Piya. Piya was proven innocent when the hostel warden brings the real culprits to police station. Piya was shocked to see misha's father who is her real father who left her mother long before when she was a child.But she didn't try to tell him anything. The next day Piya talks to Misha about the man who saved her life. By the time a boy from a rich family comes to the college. Piya realises that it was the mysterious man who saved her life. The man introduces himself as Abhay Raichand (Vivian Dsena) to the principal and bossily asks for an admission but the principal rejects. When Piya tries to thank Abhay he pushes her away . As he belongs to a rich family, they get the principal fired. Abhay then tells her believed to be mom about his dislike for the school though she says it is important to maintain a good relationship with everyone for their survival. The door knocks and Piya gives Abhay's cellphone who had dropped it, he is rude though his mom is friendly. The student body of drama club protest as Piya was selected as juliet and kabir romeo in a play but Abhay is chosen to play romeo. The principal then tells a rule according to which T has the right to choose and she chooses Abhay. Panchi decides to audition Abhay and Piya where Abhay is selected by winning the majority of votes and panchi too gives her vote to abhay Piya is then unhappy. Misha and Piya go for jogging in the night and when Misha leaves for a minute to attend a call , piya goes somewhere in the jungle and gets lost.She then comes to a clearing wher she is nearly struck by a tempo which is when Abhay appears and stops the bus with his hand saving her.Though he says he just pulled her she doesn't believe . Misha then takes Piya back . When Abhay returns home , her mom tells that he has created problem by crossing the river as they are not allowed to go in THEIR area. The next day abhay enters the class late and answers a difficult question. He is angry with piya as she tells others about the accident. Abhay's parents organize a party where rich people including T's parents are invited which she boasts about.. While practicing a balcony scene where Piya is on a stable stand she falls down and Abhay catches her. Misha's parents and Panchi go the abhay's party and MIsha goes later. Piya chooses her clothes and tries them out for her date with Kabir the next day . MIsha 's call comes where she tells her to get the invitation card as she can't enter without it and while going she drops the card and gives the empty envelope to misha. MIsha and priya sneak out in the party where abhay catches piya and tells her to leaves and thinks that she wanted to come to the party though she tells she didn't want to and came to help Misha .She then leaves.
