Sat Sri Akal everyone finally I have gotten the opportunity to do a DOTW yay... Well I was just sitting around yesterday listening to prayers, and thought deeply that how many actually listen to them read them at times... understand them, do people even take time out to even listen ask parents what they mean or go to a religious place an ask.. this topic can go from one place to the next so I have wrote a few questions that people may answer and can add anything they wish..



1. Why do people do prayers today in a modern world everything's so changed from before... but people still do them?

2. Do you believe that because of how the generation is going "meaning all" that some day when this generation has passed the following will forget about "prayers"??

3. Do you believe that praying is a connection to God, He, Him...?

4. How does, prayers give peace to your soul?

5. In today's world who prays without any selfishness? "Some usually pray when they really need something"

Nobody does that. No matter how much they deny it people still do it.

Well everything can change but if u are a true believer of god then love 4 god can neva change in ur heart !! u feel kinda peace inside ur heart when u pray !! u feel peace because u think there is someone the most powerfull and the greatest of all and u can ask him for errything its kinda u noo people dun feel alone when they pray n they think sumone is there to hear them and u can get everything if GOD wans .

Even i pray everyday and ask 4 some mercy ! and while praying i even feel like kina crying u noo ! when i think how messd up my life is or was !! soo its juzz cuz u feel peace that some1 is derr u can ask him 4 anythin amd forgivness.

Because they fear of allah and wats gonna happen to dem in their 2nd lyf coz dis world is too short n is nuttin compared 2 den, they know on day of judgement god is gonna take hisaab (encounter) all their sins and if they have more sins they'll go hell n rot in fire if more than to heaven living in peace! also i beleive we pray because allah wants us to worship him.. ask him 4 help, guidance, knowledge,and all our luxuries etc so we are rememberin him and keepin his deen alive anf following prophet muhammad PBUH!!

Yea i agree ppl pray if they want sumfin for selfish motivations which is accordin 2 me haraam, n wen they get wat they want they juz stop n start doin bad deeds again, whereas they should do shukar 2 allah n pray n worship more!! buh on the otha hand allah is strong hes the creator of this whole universe n this whole world is on his hands n he can do anyfin n take tht fing bak or get us in some otha problem!!

e.g:

juz say i want a new car n like i'm beggin allah everytym i pray buh he dn't give 2 me.

maybe coz:

-i could of had an accident in the car

-my new car cud get jackd
