@ Princezna: Thanx a bunch sweetie for providing such a beautiful picture of Bhagat Singh ji with beautiful wording👏

@ Simran: Thanx a lot buddy for the translation🤗 I am sure many people(like me) needed it😳😆 Also, the shabad(deh shiva) you wrote for bhagat ji really does suit him👏

I just wish everyone becomes a bit more appreciative of what Bhagat Singh did for people like us who are NO WAY related to him😔 I hope a lot more people come out to give ovation to our true hero Bhagat Singh.....even a single word like"Thanx" would do

So common out all indians and pakistani's let's give our ovation to the most deserving hero of our independence😳

happy birthday to this great hero!..not only my hero but all of india's...truly a great and a very intelligent human being...god has stopped making such people nowadays...you won't find a bhagat singh in today's world...we have all become so selfish and live only for ourselves....we need to learn something from these ... giving up their life for their country at such a young age

thanks to IF for remembering this important day 😊

Wow, what a pos👏t, the ,mere mention of this great leader and fighter stirs me up..Sardar Bhagat Singh lived and died for all of us...He fought against imperialism and corruption...Its an insult to his death that today, these two things still exist in the sub-continent...He is and will always be the biggest hero to all of us..And we all need to remember him and his courage and bravery and purpose of life and pass these stories on to the up coming generations..Its very important to have heros in life, to follow and travel on the right path...

Its a shame that people don't remember his birthday also anymore...Thanks to JK and IF for this wonderful post..👏

Inquilab Zindabad!!!

Thanks to Pakistan for the wonderful gesture..Of course logically Bhagat Singh is theirs as much as he is India's...But I am simply touched by this and hopefully the memorial is happening for sure, before the Martyr's next birth anniversary...

Pak to build memorial for Bhagat Singh in Lahore
Sunday, September 2 2007 11:21(IST)

Lahore, Sept 2: The Pakistan Punjab government will build a memorial for Bhagat Singh, Governor Lt Gen (retd.) Khalid Maqbool has said. Gen. Maqbool said Bhagat Singh infused new life into the freedom movement with his revolutionary ideas. Singh advocated for the empowerment of the people and became a beacon of the youth movement of that time, he said.

"Singh was the first martyr of the subcontinent and his example was followed by many youth of the time," the Daily Times quoted Gen. Maqbool as saying.

Diyal Singh Research and Cultural Forum (DSRCF) director Dr Zafar Cheema said Maulana Zafar Ali Khan bestowed the title of "Shaheed" on Bhagat Singh for his sacrifice for the national cause.

Makhan Singh Kohar, an Indian delegate at the seminar organised by the DSRCF to commemorate Bhagat Singh's Birth Centenary, said though Singh was a Sikh, he did not represent any religion when he took on the British during the freedom struggle.

Muhammad Iqbal Virk who has claimed to own property earlier belonging to Bhagat Singh's family, said he wanted to display his collection of Singh's belongings at the Lahore Museum.

At this Gen. Maqbool said all of Bhagat Singh's possessions would be rehabilitated and displayed at the museum after research.

Bhagat Singh was born at Faisalabad's 105 GB Banga Village in 1907 and was hanged at the Lahore Jail in 1931 at the age of 24. The British hanged Singh and his comrades, Rajguru and Sukhdev for their involvement in the assassination of a British police officer, JP Saunders.
